Comience su experiencia con un paseo guiado por las bulliciosas calles de Livorno, deteniéndose en mercados históricos y tiendas de alimentos locales para descubrir ingredientes frescos y especialidades toscanas mientras aprende sobre el patrimonio culinario único de la ciudad. Después de una hora de exploración, nos dirigiremos a una cocina casera local, donde participará en una clase de cocina práctica. Con ingredientes toscanos frescos y de alta calidad, aprenderá a preparar un plato clásico de Livornia, como el Cacciucco (guiso tradicional de mariscos) o el Triglie alla Livornese (salchichón rojo en salsa de tomate), dominando las técnicas que definen la cocina costera de Livorno. Una vez terminada la cocción, siéntese y disfrute de su comida casera, acompañada de una copa de vino toscano fino, mientras se remoja en el cálido ambiente de una auténtica casa de Livornia.

A wonderful experience! We were welcomed into Luciana and Francesco's home and treated like family. They taught us how to make homemade fresh ravioli. We had a first class lunch including antipasto and dessert. A treasure of Livorno.
We were surprised and delighted with our exceptional experience with the lovely and talented Joelle and her handsome and congenial husband. We were made to feel at home and were treated to an outstanding and relaxing lunch with wine, and the best tiramisu in the world. The artistic talent they displayed was only out done by their patience and kindness. We reluctantly left their beautiful home with recipes of the gourmet food we had and lasting memories.
What a fantastic experience with Joelle and her husband Riccardo. After an incredibly insightful tour of the food markets where we learnt a lot about Tuscan food, we cooked pasta at their home, and sampled many Tuscan sweet and savoury delights and wine. Joelle and Riccardo are so warm, generous and knowledgeable - it felt like spending a day with old friends. Can't recommend this experience enough, especially if you enjoy cooking and learning about good food.
I could not recommend this experience more! We met Chef Joelle and her husband, Ricardo, in the market to pick up ingredients for our cultivated menu (I have dietary restrictions, my partner does not), and then we traveled to their lovely seaside home where we prepared (hands on!) and feasted on a fabulous lunch. What an amazing way to spend several hours while in port on a cruise. Joelle and Ricardo were such gracious hosts, and we so enjoyed their company. You will NOT be disappointed!
Such a lovely way to spend the day in Livorno! Joelle & Riccardo were so welcoming and wonderful. It was a small and intimate group. We enjoyed every moment & morsel! It was impressive to learn of, and see their 25+ year history with La Cucina Italiana. We felt most fortunate they shared their incredible passions & talents. We ate to our hearts content ... interesting local starters, savory Tuscan soup, perfect pasta and delectable desserts. Joelle is a master chef and pastry creator, her love of the craft was evident. Amazing day! Shopped at the market for lunch ingredients with tastings along the way with Joelle & Ricardo. Prepped lunch alongside amazing chef, made fresh pasta & together had delicious meal with wine & dessert. It was the highlight of our trip!!!!
