Salga del puerto de Livorno y durante el viaje de 2 horas a Siena admire la famosa campiña toscana (colinas, enormes viñedos, olivos, etc.). Su conductor privado le dará una introducción sobre su día y usted decidirá el horario exacto de acuerdo con sus necesidades personales.
Visite Siena, una de las ciudades más bellas de la Toscana, llena de calles estrechas, torres medievales y encantadoras plazas; admire la famosa Piazza del Campo, utilizada dos veces al año para la famosa carrera de caballos “Palio”, el evento más importante en la vida del pueblo de Senese; vea la catedral gótica más importante al sur de los Alpes y eche un vistazo a las tiendas locales.
De camino a San Gimignano (aproximadamente 45 minutos), si es necesario, su conductor le sugerirá la mejor opción para degustar una comida toscana realmente fresca y genuina combinada con los famosos vinos tintos de Chianti, o si lo prefiere, algo más rápido en el camino. Una vez en San Gimignano, admire el espléndido horizonte formado por 13 torres medievales, vea el “Duomo” o Iglesia Colegiata, el “Palazzo Nuovo del Podestà”, que ahora es el ayuntamiento, y el infame Museo de la Tortura. If you are looking for a way to see the most beautiful parts of Tuscany from a cruise, this is the perfect tour for you. We were picked up right at the ship by Mario, in a beautiful Mercedes. Mario was one of the kindest people we have met while traveling. He grew up in Florence and knows the Tuscany area inside and out! He gave us such wonderful information about the area, and about himself growing up there. We loved hearing all of his knowledge of how things have changed over the years. We visited Sienna, and because it was private, we chose how long we wanted to stay. We stopped at a small, family run winery for lunch and wine tasting. It was absolutely delightful. Our next stop was San Girognano. What an amazing little town. Again, Mario told us to spend as much time as we needed. He was such a wonderful guide. He then drove us back to our ship, and we visited and chatted the entire way. All in all is was one of our favorite days on our cruise, mostly because Mario made it perfect for us!

Mario was punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable about his area, Tuscany. He helped get the most out of a day trip and his car was clean, well presented and driven in a relaxed manner.
