Sumérgete en los años sesenta y toma asiento en mi furgoneta Volkswagen T2 de 1970 reformada para vivir una experiencia única. Elegante y "baba cool", aporta originalidad y diversión a tu escapada. Te hago descubrir los alrededores de Lisboa, lugares magníficos, auténticos y aún conservados a los que es difícil acceder cuando no estás transportado. Tanto si eres aficionado a los coches clásicos, nostálgico de los años 60 y 70 o simplemente curioso por descubrir esta mítica furgoneta, te aseguro un momento de convivencia y grandes descubrimientos. Para el día están previstos itinerarios para pasear por las costas de Cascais o Sintra. Otras rutas te llevarán a la Serra d'Arrabida o incluso a Setúbal. Con amigos o familiares de hasta 5 personas (en privado), Ponte cómodo en mi VW combi y déjate llevar para disfrutar al máximo de este maravilloso destino.

Itinerario
2 horas de tiempo libre previstas en Cascais. Antiguo pueblo de pescadores, fue transformado por la nobleza portuguesa en un lugar de veraneo con sus suntuosas villas y lugares extravagantes. Cascais es una pequeña ciudad con mucho encanto donde puedes disfrutar de bonitas playas, parques y callejuelas animadas.
La Casa da Guia es actualmente un referente en el municipio de Cascais y se ha convertido en un auténtico punto de encuentro con la familia o los amigos, gracias a un concepto único y diferente de comercio, cultura y ocio. A la salida de Cascais, en la carretera de Guincho, la Casa da Guia se encuentra en una mansión del siglo XIX, totalmente rehabilitada por el arquitecto Cláudio Wanderley, rodeada de dos hectáreas de jardines encaramados en el acantilado, que se extienden hasta el Faro de Guia y dominando la inmensidad del Océano Atlántico. En el interior, descubrimos un innovador concepto comercial con varias tiendas y una galería de arte. En el exterior, existe una excelente zona de restauración, comercio, cultura y ocio, donde los restaurantes, las terrazas y un anfiteatro son perfectos miradores desde los que disfrutar de unas magníficas vistas al mar.
Cabo da Roca es un cabo salvaje que se encuentra en el punto más occidental de Europa continental. Este lugar formado por acantilados azotados por los vientos y tierras áridas fue considerado (hasta el siglo XIV) el fin del mundo. Es el lugar ideal para las personas que aprecian la naturaleza, con por un lado la extensión de agua que parece infinita y por el otro las montañas del parque natural de Sintra-Cascais.
Esta "boca del infierno" es un abismo que ha asombrado y aterrorizado a los visitantes desde los tiempos más remotos. El océano, a fuerza de idas y venidas a menudo violentas, ha cavado la roca, formando una "mandíbula de piedra" en la que burbujea una sopa infernal.
Magnífica playa enclavada en el espectacular paisaje de las colinas de la Serra de Sintra. Siempre expuesta a fuertes vientos, es famosa por sus enormes olas, tanto en verano como en invierno. Es por tanto un paraíso para los surfistas experimentados. En el extremo sur de la playa se encuentra el fuerte pintado de amarillo de Fortaleza do Guincho, que se ha transformado en un hotel de 5* con su piscina al aire libre construida alrededor de un antiguo fuerte.

This was the best part of our trip to Portugal. This day didn’t feel like you were on a tour. It was more like riding around with family and friends, singing great music and catching all the cool sights along the way. Also, we had the best meal of our entire trip for lunch at Azenhas do Mar. What a wonderful experience we had with this tour and although we did not get a chance to visit Sintra and the other Castles because of unforeseen circumstances, we did get a chance to go other sites that we would otherwise not have been able to. My hats off to Christiano for this unforgettable trip to the coastline and the city of Cascais, he took his time to explain in detail all the places we visited. He also recommended local restaurants for us while in Lisbon and his wife Laura kept in touch with me even before we got here to make sure everything was fine. Fun day with lovely and knowledgeable guide and driver. The VW bus is super cool! When we moved quickly through regular stops being fast-paced New Yorkers they offered to add another location to visit.

Cristiano was an amazing guide for the day! He was on time, very polite and a friend to talk with and ask questions all day. He provided the schedule for the day and asked if we wanted any modifications. This is the perfect tour to visit the coastal towns and sites near Lisbon. At each stop he provided us with history about the stop and allowed time to explore, take pictures and enjoy each experience. Our lunch stop came with an amazing ocean view and the food was outstanding (order the grilled octopus). Make sure you ask him about the history of the van as it has a very fascinating story. He loves what he is doing, is very knowledgeable about Portugal and you will not be disappointed in your experience. We highly recommend this tour as we feel like we have a new friend in Portugal.

Everything was perfect from the pick up to the drop off. Laura and Christian were AMAZING. Super knowledgable, friendly and we enjoyed their fabulous VW van. We were picked up on time at the hotel in this fully restored bus and drove comfortably along small roads to Sintra. Our two supervisors told us a lot about the city and Sintra. From Sintra we went to the coast to a fantastic fish restaurant with a great view. Then along the coast to the westernmost point of Europe, then to a hellish gorge and finally back to Lisbon via the coastal road. The trip in the old bus is great fun, people often speak to you and wave at you. We can only recommend the trip!
