What a fantastic tour to get your bearings whilst visiting unique spots and learning about the city's history and hidden gems from locals. The pace was good. My 9yo (142cm tall) was comfortable on the bike. We normally do the big bus tour to get our bearings but this was hands down a much better, more personalised experience and one we'd do again. All those little spots, lane ways and markets not accessible by bus, but are by bike. Holden our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and accommodating to us having to leave the tour a touch earlier.
Had a fantastic day touring around Singapore Holden was so knowledgeable and entertaining and enthusiastic couldn’t recommend this bike tour enough👍
We booked this tour specifically because it was a small group. Ours had 6 people in total which was a perfect size. Alvin our guide, supervised the group well. We stopped regularly for information or for him to take photos of us. The cycling is on cycleways but these are part of the pavement as well in some places so care was needed with pedestrians. The tour took us along the Singapore F1 track and into the different quarters (chinese, Indian, Arab) where we also stopped so that Alvin could give information about the area and food. The route was flat and easy cycling but you do need to be fairly confident in urban cycling. All in all this was an excellent tour and we really enjoyed it. One additional comment is that the meeting point is not at a building. It is in a public space just at the back of Nicoll Highway MRT. Recommend you do this tour on your first day if possible. It will give you an idea of where things are.
This was a 100% recommend if coming to Singapore! Our tour guide James was the right balance of funny and informative, and was helpful in giving any recommendations to make our stay in Singapore as exciting as possible! Such a fabulous way to see the City and to spend a morning! Couldn’t fault James either he was FABULOUS! This tour is electric
Ben was excellent. His loud speaker was great as my hearing is bad. Highly recommend
A special thanks to our guide Denzel, who was very knowledgeable and at the same time full of jokes and a perfect photographer. Thank you Denzel for the nice souvenirs
So much fun , and for four hours, it flew! Saw so many areas at an easy pace with lots of stops, pleased they supplied water for us too. Even though they were not e-bikes (they are not allowed on footpaths where you often bike and would have been impractical with crowds) it was quite managable. Best of all (apart from biking on F1 track, we learnt so much about culture, living together in a big city, and how the place functions. Visited a great hawker centre - it was just awesome - Thanks!
Easy to follow instructions for meeting point. Alvin was very friendly, knowledgeable and shared just enough personal and family insights to make the changes in Singapore be very real. Alvin was on a specific route but was flexible to miss out super busy places when none of our group wanted to stay. That was great. He forwarded photos at iconic places to enhance your memories. No difficult cycling, plenty of water breaks and an option to snack, Indian style. Alvin/ Lion City bike tour was very good value.
James was an incredible tour guide! Easy riding, quick hitter seeing all the sights. James was the perfect mix of fun, informative, funny, helpful, I could go on and on! Highly recommend if you’re looking to experience exploring local & notable landmarks (James totally hooked us up with both posed & candid pics!!), a little bit of history, someone to ask questions, some light exercise, opportunities to try local foods & drinks - absolutely 10/10 recommend booking!
Was a nice extended tour. Holden Decgids has made a party of it!
