Descubre los sabores auténticos de Lima en esta experiencia gastronómica por el Centro Histórico. Durante este recorrido de aproximadamente 3 horas y media caminaremos por lugares emblemáticos como la Plaza San Martín, el Mercado Central y el tradicional Barrio Chino. Los viajeros conocerán ingredientes locales, probarán comida típica peruana y disfrutarán de una degustación del famoso Pisco Sour. Mientras caminamos por calles históricas como el Jirón de la Unión, el guía compartirá historias sobre la cultura, la gastronomía y la historia de la ciudad. El tour finaliza cerca de la Plaza de Armas de Lima, el corazón histórico de la capital peruana.

Itinerario
Inicio del tour en el histórico Gran Hotel Bolívar, ubicado en la Plaza San Martín. Aquí el guía dará una breve introducción sobre la historia del Centro de Lima y la gastronomía peruana antes de comenzar la experiencia gastronómica.
Caminata por la calle más tradicional del centro, historia y paradas gastronómicas.
Visitaremos la histórica Iglesia y Convento de La Merced, uno de los templos más importantes del Centro Histórico de Lima. El guía explicará brevemente la historia del lugar y su importancia durante la época colonial mientras caminamos por el tradicional Jirón de la Unión.
Visitaremos el famoso Mercado Central de Lima, donde los viajeros conocerán ingredientes tradicionales peruanos, frutas exóticas y diferentes puestos de comida local. Aquí se probarán algunos sabores típicos de la gastronomía peruana.
Caminaremos por el tradicional Barrio Chino de Lima, una zona llena de historia y cultura. Los viajeros podrán conocer la influencia china en la gastronomía peruana y probar algunos snacks típicos.
Final del tour con Los viajeros disfrutarán de una degustación del tradicional Pisco Sour, el cóctel más emblemático del Perú, mientras el guía explica su historia y los ingredientes que lo hacen único.

Juan Diego was our tour guide. Had a really enjoyable food tour. Juan gave a a great history lesson of the area, he was very knowledgable and inciteful. Food was very tasty, definitely worth the money.

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was a great way to get to know Peruvian gastronomy while walking through the historic centre of Lima. We tried various typical dishes and drinks, and each stop had something interesting to discover. I especially liked the fact of visiting local places and not just the most tourist points. Everything was well organized, the pace was calm and the experience seemed very authentic. I recommend to those who want to know the Peruvian culture through the Food.

It was a really nice and authentic experience. We went to the historic center and Chinatown and the local market where they selling fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. We have tasted some typical food such as choclo con queso, ceviche, papá rellena and picarones. Diego also explained as the places we went and the history behind them. It was a very nice experience and we had a lot of fun.

I absolutely loved this food tour! The fruit tasting was something I didn’t expect and it ended up being my favorite part. I tried many new fruits, all fresh and delicious food. The guide was very friendly and explained everything really well. Definitely a unique experience and highly recommended.
