La Escuela de Surf de Ama Weligama Sri Lanka fue fundada originalmente para ayudar a todos los surfistas que sintieron que se habían estancado o estaban luchando por progresar. El entusiasta que ama estar en el océano pero no sabe cómo llevar su surf al siguiente nivel. Si bien para algunos montar olas rotas en el agua blanca les conviene, para la mayoría esto es solo el comienzo de un viaje de surf más largo alimentado por el sueño de deslizarse a lo largo de la cara abierta de las olas que se recortan y giran en armonía con el océano.

This is the third holiday we have had in Weligama and Sammy has been my kids surfing coach on every occasion. He is a brilliant teacher and we trust him completely with their safety. The kids now love surfing and hence we will keep coming back.

My husband and I had an awesome experience at Ama's surf school. Our instructor Rohan was great, and we both went from beginner to intermediate level in less than a week. I was really excited to learn how to catch green waves and turn left and right! Weligama is beautiful and one sunset session we surfed under a giant rainbow. Totally spectacular. Ama and his team were friendly, professional and fun. They were also really good with our young baby and accommodating to our schedule. Highly recommend for beginners and intermediate surfers too!
