We had a great experience with Kichaka Tours during our half-day safari in Nairobi National Park, which we booked due to a long stopover in Nairobi between two flights. Communication with Mercy at the time of booking was clear and smooth, and they were also very flexible with the times when Kenya Airways rebooked our flight. Before the safari we also visited Giraffe Centre, which was a very nice start to the day. Our safari guide Richard was excellent. He gave good and interesting explanations about the park, the animals and the sights along the way. He also really did his best to find good places where we could see the animals and take nice pictures. We were also very lucky and got to see almost all the animals we hoped for, including cheetah, lion, hippo, rhino, giraffe, buffalo and jackals. After the safari we also got a quick city tour in Nairobi before we were dropped off at the airport, which was a very nice way to end the experience. Overall, an amazing experience that we can highly recommend!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are truly delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic experience with Kichaka Tours during your half-day safari in Nairobi. We’re very happy that the booking process with Mercy was smooth and that we could remain flexible when your Kenya Airways flight schedule changed. Making things easy and stress-free for our guests, especially during short layovers, is always very important to us. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed visiting Nairobi National Park and starting your day at the Giraffe Centre. We’re especially pleased that your guide Richard made the safari both informative and enjoyable while helping you find great wildlife sightings and photo opportunities. You were indeed very lucky to see so many animals, including cheetah, lion, hippo, rhino, giraffe, buffalo, and jackals! Experiences like that make a layover safari truly special. We’re also glad you enjoyed the short Nairobi city tour before heading back to the airport—it’s a lovely way to end the adventure. Thank you again for your kind recommendation. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back to Kenya for another safari in the future!
This is a really awesome and well organized safari experience. Maurice was very punctual and knowledgeable on all of the animals we saw. He was a great driver and we saw tons of animals. I recommend going early right when the park opens so you see more wildlife.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We're so glad to hear Maurice provided exceptional service and helped you locate wildlife. We'll make sure to pass along your kind words to him. We appreciate your visit and hope to see you again soon. All the best.
We had six hours in Nairobi as a transfer and we decided to do a tour to Nairobi National Park, which is 15 minutes drive from the airport. When we had some delay, we expended our time in the park without any problems. We saw rhinos, lions, many antelopes, ostriches, hippo's, crocodiles, zebra's, baboons and more. Our guide Carlos was very nice and saw a lot. This was a great stop in Nairobi, before getting further. Recommend this tour operator.
