Very informative tour, excellent tasting and our host Chris was just amazing. I had taken 3 German friends along who equally enjoyed it even with their limited English skills. It’s on my list to revisit when the whiskey side matures :)
We had an excellent time at the Distillery tour! Chris was great and was able to give personal knowledge due to his major involvement within the distillery. It was personal, informative and clear. The tasting was lovely and was also flexible to the groups tastes!

I booked this for my friends 40th present last year and was not disappointed. We got a full understanding of how the Lancaster Spirits Company makes there drinks, a apriciation of how they are in England in the 5% that make there own wash and with local bore hole to make a true local spirit. Our guide took his time made sure we understood the process and care that goes into there product. Ending with sampling all of there spirits and explaining of why each one is made the way it was. Truly would recommend this
If you are ever in or around Lancaster you must book a tour and tasting at the Lancaster Spirit Co within the Lancaster Brewery. It is a fascinating educational experience conducted by Chris Pateman who is extremly knowledgable about whiskey and gin distilling. For the investor you can also purchase your very own keg. Bottles of whiskey and various flavoured gins can also be purchased at the bar.

We had a fantastic experience on the distillery tour at Lancaster Brewery. Our guide, Matt, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the whole process. He walked us through everything from how the beer is made to how the spirits are distilled and explained it all in a really engaging way. Sampling seven spirits contributed to the good mood… but even before that, it was a brilliant experience! Informative, relaxed and genuinely great fun. Would 100% recommend - but don’t plan to drive afterwards!

We had an absolutely lovely experience on our recent Lancaster tour. Our guide, Matt, was fantastic—he was incredibly kind and his deep knowledge made the whole experience both educational and fun. It was a real treat to get a true 'flavour' of everything both the brewery and the distillery have to offer. Seeing how both sides of the operation work was a highlight of our trip. To top off a great day, we finished with a meal at Kelly’s restaurant. The food was excellent and it was the perfect way to end our visit. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great day out in Lancaster!

Bought this for my dad, an avid whisky fan, as a birthday present. We both really enjoyed the experience. Chris, the tour guide and all round expert on everything to do with whisky, was the perfect host and made the afternoon into an entertaining, informative trip. And the tasting at the end was eye opening, with the development of the taste of the spirits. If it tastes this good now, will be interesting to see what they will taste like in coming years. Well worth booking on this tour.
Our guide Chris was brilliant. his knowledge was immense and his passion for his craft came through to us all. We were a family of 8 and our tour was just us, so it felt really personal it was brilliant Chris thank you. This is a fascinating insight into the world of whisky distillery and I would recommend this to anyone. The process of distilling kept us all enthralled and all our questions were answered without any hesitation. Chis’ knowledge is immense. We are still talking about it days later
We had a great tour with Chris. He is passionate about his business and so made for a fun and informative guide. There is plenty of spirit to be tasted at the end of the tour and it was all very relaxed. It was very personal with just the two of us and Chris. There is a chance to buy at the end but we were under no pressure. Thoroughly recommend.
Fascinating and inspiring tour around one of England's newest whisky distilleries, even as a seasoned whisky enthusiast and having been on plenty of tours there was so much to learn. Lancaster Spirit co are approaching the whole process from a fresh angle and it shows in their spirits. We were treated to at least half a dozen partially matured new make spirits, something ive never experienced elsewhere. Definitely worth a look if you are into whisky and/or just in the area looking for something a bit out of the ordinary
