Este hermoso y pintoresco lago público de 22 millas, conocido por su agua clara y de nivel constante, cuenta con casas privadas frente al mar y junto al acantilado, varios restaurantes a orillas del mar, es el hogar de los campeones mundiales de wake surf, Ashley Kidd y Raleigh Hager, y a solo 20 minutos en auto del centro Austin
Este puente arqueado de acero construido en 1982 es un hito icónico de Austin. Abarcando la distancia del lago Austin (1,150 pies de largo), conecta las secciones Norte y Sur de la Capital de Texas Highway. El diseño arqueado del puente fue creado para evitar tener columnas de soporte que de otra manera interferirían con los esquiadores acuáticos, los surfistas de estela y los navegantes en las 22 millas de agua que se encuentran debajo.

A comfortable cruise with captain Ronaldo. We made a stop for the bathroom and grabbed a drink. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful homes. It was a 25 minute uber ride from downtown Austin and I also enjoyed seeing the scenery on the way.

Spencer was an amazing tour guide. He gave us history but he was also personable and relaxed. My only complaint was that it was too short lol. I would've paid for another go around!

What a great excursion. We had never been on the Lake before, and Marco our captain made us feel right at home. Very knowledgeable and conversational guy.
