Cuando comencemos nuestro recorrido desde Dubrovnik, conduciremos alrededor de 50 minutos hasta llegar a nuestra primera parada y esa será la ciudad Herceg Novi (cirílico: Херцег Нови, pronunciado [xěrtseɡ nôʋiː]) es una ciudad costera en Montenegro ubicada en la entrada occidental de la bahía de Kotor y al pie del monte Orjen. Es el centro administrativo del municipio de Herceg Novi con alrededor de 33.000 habitantes. Herceg Novi fue conocido como Castelnuovo ("Castillo Nuevo" en italiano) entre 1482 y 1797, cuando formaba parte del Imperio Otomano y la Albania Veneta de la República de Venecia. Era un obispado católico y sigue siendo una sede titular latina como Novi. Herceg Novi ha tenido un pasado turbulento, a pesar de ser uno de los asentamientos más jóvenes del Adriático. Una historia de variadas ocupaciones ha creado una mezcla de estilo arquitectónico diverso y pintoresco en la ciudad. De Herceg Novi a Risan (montenegrino: Рисан, pronunciado [rîsan]) son unos 35 minutos en coche. Risan es una ciudad en la Bahía de Kotor, Montenegro. Tiene sus orígenes en el antiguo asentamiento de Rhizon, el asentamiento más antiguo de la bahía de Kotor. Nos detendremos aquí para ver los famosos mosaicos romanos en Risan. De Risan a Perast hay unos 5 minutos en coche. Risan (montenegrino: Пераст) es una ciudad antigua en la bahía de Kotor en Montenegro. Está situado a pocos kilómetros al noroeste de Kotor y destaca por su proximidad a los islotes de San Jorge y Nuestra Señora de las Rocas. Perast es el monumento más grande de Boka Kotorska (Montenegro), está todo en piedra y completamente de piedra. Tiene muchos palacios, iglesias y casas de piedra. En el siglo XIV había un astillero. La primera escuela marítima funcionó en Perast. En Perast, los huéspedes tendrán 1 hora de tiempo libre para explorar la ciudad y, si lo desean, pueden tomar un paseo en bote hasta el islote Our Lady Of The Rock, el precio del bote es de 10 €.
De Perast a Kotor hay unos 15 minutos en coche. Kotor (cirílico montenegrino: Котор, pronunciado [kɔ̌tɔr]), históricamente conocido como Cattaro[1][2][3] (del italiano: pronunciado [ˈkattaro]), es una ciudad costera de Montenegro. Se encuentra en una parte apartada de la Bahía de Kotor. La ciudad tiene una población de 13.510 habitantes y es el centro administrativo del municipio de Kotor. Los huéspedes tendrán 2 horas de tiempo libre para explorar la ciudad.

No maps provided inside wall of old town. Only verbal info provided and driver dropped off passengers at locations. Took trip to island with everything closed. Driver driving too fast and close to other cars. Driver talked several minutes at border checks points on personal matters friends. Countryside is beautiful. Length of time in cities were minimal.

We had a good trip to Montenegro with Darko. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. He told several jokes on route to sightseeing places. Personally, we would have been happier to leave the visit to Budva, as the traffic was solid on the way back due to ongoing roadworks - took 1.5 hrs for a 2 hr stop and apart from the small old town, the rest of the area looks like an ugly building site. The morning sightseeing stops were great, but could be extended with time there and include a cable car ride up the mountain instead of Budva.
That an amazing tour, I supposed to have a tour in spanish, changed last minute and also the itinerary, bud was a great trip in general, especially for the chofer and guide (Andrew), kind and talkative and always open to help us on everything..
My daughter and I had such a wonderful, full day tour to Montenegro which I think was reasonably priced too. Our tour guide Darko I highly recommend as he made the day enjoyable, fun and interesting with his friendly personality, geographical and historical knowledge and professional approach. He was first class driver needed to tackle the busy roads and mountain terrain. What a memorable holiday 😀x

Had a great time! We were picked up from hotel by Andrew (our guide). He was friendly, informative and had a great sense of humor. The goal was to visit Perast, Kotor, and Budva. We loved that he got us to the destinations before they got too crowded, had our visit/pictures, etc and off to the next one. We hit all the highlights, had some great recommendations for Krempita dessert in Kotor and coffee in Perast and lunch in Budva. We were back in Dubrovnik before dinner time so we still had time for getting dinner and nighttime stroll in the Old City when we returned!
I had the pleasure of having Andrew as my tour guide, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment the tour began, Andrew impressed us with his deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and passion for the history and culture of the area. He managed to make every stop meaningful, blending fascinating facts with fun anecdotes that brought the place to life.
Andrew was amazing—super friendly, spoke great English, and made the tour really fun and interactive. He kept us engaged the whole time and was always happy to help or answer questions. Highly recommend!
