Daniel is a great host! Very knowledgeable and kind! He added a stop at The People’s House for us to experience the White House. We appreciate all of the information and timely breaks!
Must go program. The tour guide is very professional and knowledgeable. He is very friendly, open minded, neutral about the US history. A very pleasant person.
Overall the tour was pretty good but it was a shame we couldn’t get closer to the White House due to all the construction. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Hi Anke, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that your guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It's always wonderful to know our guides helped make your experience enjoyable. We completely understand your disappointment about not being able to get closer to the White House. Unfortunately, ongoing security measures and construction work are outside our control and can occasionally affect access to certain viewpoints. Whenever this happens, our guides do their best to provide the best possible experience by sharing additional stories, history, and alternative viewing locations. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you on another LetzGo City Tours experience in the future. We operate premium walking tours throughout Europe and the USA, and we'd love to show you another destination soon. Kind regards, The LetzGo City Tours Team
It was extremely hot. I thought it was a ride and see your but it was walking. There was no place to purchase water along the way. Our guide walked so fast and talked before we all gathered to hear her information and then never really left time for pictures! I was disappointed.
Hi Cynthia, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. The exceptionally high temperatures during your visit certainly made sightseeing more challenging, and we understand how uncomfortable that can be. We also appreciate your comments regarding the pace of the tour. Our guides aim to cover all of the scheduled highlights while ensuring guests have time to enjoy each location, so we're sorry to hear you felt the group moved too quickly and that there wasn't enough time to take photographs or gather before the commentary began. Regarding the tour format, this experience is designed as a walking tour, and we're sorry if this wasn't as clear as it should have been before your booking. As with any outdoor sightseeing experience during the peak of summer, particularly in July, we strongly encourage guests to come prepared for the weather by bringing water, wearing sun protection, and dressing appropriately for the conditions. Staying hydrated and protected from the sun helps ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. We will also review your comments about the pace of the tour and the opportunities to purchase water, and we'll share your feedback with our operations team and guide to see where improvements can be made, particularly during periods of extreme heat. We genuinely appreciate your constructive feedback, as it helps us improve the experience for future guests. We hope you'll consider joining us again on another LetzGo City Tours experience in the future. Kind regards, The LetzGo City Tours Team
Weather was dangerously hot and because of 4th of July could not get to Pennsylvania Avenue to see White House. My wife actually over heated and we had to drop out for her safety. I would ask for refund if possible. I will say the guide was nice. Even the main 250th fair closed because of the dangerous heat. The 4th of July parade was also canceled because of the heat. This tour should have been canceled.
Check the weather, check what was really happening coz a lot of road and places were closed and the weather was so hot, all that walking in the heat was enough for a person to pass out. Had to leave the group coz couldn’t tolerate the walking with temps of 100s.
We didn’t get near the White House. Barricades and fences kept us from being anywhere near it. It was VERY disappointing!!!
The White House is not a part of this tour. It should be renamed. Other than that, it’s a grand way to see the city and learn a bit Our guide, Cassie, is AMAZING and energetic…. We just really wanted to see the White House since that was the name of the tour …?
Be prepared for a long walk. It is mostly level with some stairs. The tour guide was exceptional with a world of information
Daniel was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable. For those wanting an informed and pleasurable walking trip Daniel provided a great experience
