The tour was a great way to cover a lot of ground. Our guide, Ejji, was polite, well informed and a lot of fun.
Fun e-bike tour around the city stopping at highlight spots. Spent 3 hours seeing the city and cultural spots
This was the highlight of our Kyoto trip. Sebastian was so kind and helpful with so much information to share. He also accommodated our big group and was very patient with our delays. We cycled through the streets of Kyoto with stops for pictures and information then ended with a beautiful long stretch by the river. Thank you!
We loved biking through Kyoto’s back streets and exploring different neighborhoods. The guide was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.
Naoki took us around the east side of Kyoto and did a great job of explaining the different temples, the background of bridges and the river. I had mistakenly booked the excursion for a day we had another tour, but he was extremely accommodating. He moved our tour to a time the next day and where he was available and when we could come. He easily could have told us we would be unable to be scheduled, but he really worked with me to find a time. My two boys (10 & 14 years old) loved it as did we.
Excellent bike tour of Kyoto. Our guide Noaki was knowledgeable, friendly, spoke EXCELLENT English and tailored our tour to our requests. The cycling was easy, Noaki accommodated our requests for e-bikes, but they were not necessary. His knowledge of Japan is vast, he is delightful and really fun to spend the afternoon with. You will enjoy this tour and love this guide!!
Our guide was very down to earth and accommodated my request to see philosophers path. he is great at navigating everywhere around Kyoto. we saw some really special areas off the beaten path. This tour may be best for adults for safety reasons due to traffic but my kids did fine
This was a phenomenal tour, covering three types of areas: historic areas, then wealthy residential areas, and finally slice of life areas. Our tour guide, Sebastian, was excellent. His English was perfect and had deep insight into not only history, culture, and geography but also what makes living in Kyoto unique from both the perspective of locals and that of foreigners. Importantly, this was an e-bike tour, so even though we covered large swathes of the city, there was no real physical exertion. If, like us, you take this tour in winter, dress warmly.
Eiji was an excellent guide and provided a great tour of Kyoto. He very knowledgeable and helpful. We did this tour on the first day of our stay in Kyoto which was a great way to see the city & get our bearings. Thank you for looking after my family Eiji.
Sebastian was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and found some quiet out of the way places away from the crowds.
