Tiwanaku es una ciudad preinca de Bolivia. Se trata de un lugar declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO desde el año 2000. Tiwanaku es considerada por la mayoría de los arqueólogos como uno de los lugares clave que desembocaron en el Imperio Inca y sigue siendo un lugar hermoso para los visitantes modernos. El estilo artístico de Tiwanaku también es muy singular, con fascinantes piezas figurativas con cabezas exageradas. Su estilo guarda relación con el estilo Huari, que también se encuentra en la región andina, y es posible que se desarrollara a partir del estilo de Pucará anterior. Al principio de la excursión, visite los Museos de Ceramica y Litica. Los viajeros pueden visitar las antiguas y enigmáticas ruinas arqueológicas, como: la Puerta del Sol, el templo Kalasasaya, el templo semisubterráneo con cabezas clavadas, los monolitos, las misteriosas y antiguas ruinas megalíticas de Puma Punku y otros tipos de recintos religiosos.

Itinerario 08 : 00/09 : 00 a.m. Recogida en el hotel en la zona centro. 10: 40 a.m. Tour Inicio en Tiwanaku, ruinas y museos. 02:15 p.m. Almuerzo. 03:00 p.m. Regreso a la ciudad. 04:00 p.m. Iglesia de San Francisco. Comenzando con una visita a los museos de Cerámica y Lítico, los clientes pueden visitar las antiguas y enigmáticas ruinas arqueológicas como : Puerta del Sol, Templo Kalasasaya, El Templo Semisubterráneo con cabezas clavadas, Monolitos, las megalíticas y misteriosas ruinas antiguas de Puma Punku y otros recintos religiosos.
Pumapunku es parte de un gran complejo de templos o monumentos que es parte del yacimiento de Tiwanaku, cerca de Tiwanaku, en el oeste de Bolivia. Se cree que data del año 536 d. C. o más tarde.

Roadbocks all over could not reach
The tour guide was terrible. His explanations of the sites inevitably included aliens and highly inaccurate dates. The tour was full of bad information and old racist ideas that locals couldn't have made these sites. The tour company should hire some archeologists and historians to write accurate, up to date information for the guides. I would NOT recommend this tour.

Tour company cancel the day before & TripAdvisor still sent me text that trip was confirmed. Tour company never replied to my multiple queries. Don’t used Inti Travel. Totally unreliable in our case.
We booked this trip thru Trip Advisor with Inti Travel manager months before our travel date of early August. My hotel wasn’t listed on the pick up locations. So I contacted Inti Travel thru Trip Advisor 16 days b4 our trip asking if they can pick us up at our hotel, if not how do I find them at the meeting place- NOTHING total silence. Phone # listed for Inti travel is not connected and nothing from WhatsApp either. Now 1 day before our trip, we’ve been charge $110 for2 still nothing after I messaged them today. We are at their office in La Paz in a Tue at 2pm & the office is locked & closed. We’ll go to the meeting place at described time tomorrow & see if they show up! I’ll update this review if we do get to go! Very frustrating!

Doble check your pick up time you chose, they change and leave you behind, they did it to me, caused me additional cost, waiting to return to the USA to present my case.
