Esto no es un paseo turístico de lista de verificación. Es una experiencia local en bicicleta eléctrica de Kioto a través de templos de Higashiyama y callejones ocultos, guiada por alguien que recorre estas calles todos los días. Comenzamos con el montaje de la bicicleta y un claro informe de seguridad, luego cabalgamos desde el área del Palacio Imperial a lo largo del río Kamo y hacia Higashiyama. En el Santuario Nashinoki, recoges agua dulce de manantial como hacen los lugareños: tu botella reutilizable es un regalo y se convierte en tu agua potable para el paseo. En el Santuario Shimogamo, hacemos el famoso omikuji acuático (incluido) : sumergir el papel en agua y aparece el mensaje, una tradición inteligente y una divertida prueba de suerte. Luego visitaremos la tranquila zona de Honenin, continuaremos hacia el emblemático Nanzenji y terminaremos en el Santuario Heian. Evitamos las carreteras principales transitadas cuando sea posible y ajustamos la ruta para que coincida con las multitudes y las condiciones, manteniendo el viaje suave, seguro y memorable. Si quieres Kioto que se sienta auténtica y viva, este paseo es para ti.
Paramos en el santuario Nashinoki, un lugar que los lugareños visitan para obtener agua dulce de manantial. Recibirá una botella, la llenará en el santuario y la usará como agua potable durante todo el viaje.
Cabalgamos a lo largo del río Kamo, un lugar donde los lugareños se relajan y pasan tiempo en el Kioto diario. Siente el aire libre y la brisa del río mientras evitamos las carreteras principales concurridas y elegimos caminos más tranquilos y calles traseras.
Nos detendremos en Shimogamo Shrine, un antiguo santuario ubicado en una zona boscosa al norte del centro de Kioto, conocido por su atmósfera tranquila y su profunda presencia histórica. Visitamos el Templo Honenin, un lugar tranquilo en Higashiyama que se siente lejos de las rutas turísticas concurridas. Nos acercamos a través de las calles locales y callejones ocultos, y nos tomamos el tiempo para disfrutar de la quietud y la belleza simple de los terrenos del templo.
Nos detendremos en el templo Nanzenji, una de las zonas más famosas de Kioto, conocida por su gran puerta y sus espaciosos jardines. Nos tomamos el tiempo para disfrutar del ambiente y capturar fotos, luego continuamos el viaje mientras ajustamos su ruta para que coincida con los niveles de multitud del día.
Terminamos en el Santuario Heian, un hito sorprendente con un amplio acceso y una impresionante puerta bermellón. Es un gran lugar para fotos y un claro “momento de Kyoto” para cerrar el paseo antes de regresar.

Fantastic tour! Kie was a fantastic tour guide. I highly recommend this bike tour. We visited many temples and shrines that would be hard to reach without bicycles.

We had a fantastic morning thanks to Kei! We started with a briefing on the bikes and soon set off on our adventure. Although the e-bikes are quite fast, Kei guided us safely through Kyoto’s streets and intersections. This part of the tour didn't last long, as we quickly found ourselves cycling through a quiet, green area of Kyoto—it was wonderful to escape the bustle of the city for a while. The itinerary included a stop by the river, as well as visits to two shrines and two temples. Every place we visited was truly unique and beautiful and we also participated and learned a lot about rituals. We discovered wonderful spots that we never would have found on our own. Kei is a kind, respectful, and engaging guide who speaks excellent English. Communication with Kei before, during, and after the tour was also fantastic! Kei-san, arigato gozaimashita!
