Crea tus propios palillos hechos a mano con madera de Kioto cuidadosamente seleccionada en este taller cultural único. En esta experiencia práctica, darás forma, tallarás y terminarás tu propio par de palillos mientras aprendes sobre la artesanía Japonesa y el papel cultural que juegan los palillos en la comida diaria en Japón. El taller se lleva a cabo dentro de una casa tradicional de machiya de Kioto, ofreciendo un ambiente relajante y auténtico que refleja la belleza y la historia de Kioto. Cada participante crea un par de palillos completamente únicos que se pueden utilizar diariamente en casa. Al final de la experiencia, te llevarás a casa tus palillos hechos a mano como un recuerdo significativo y práctico de Kyoto.

Fun activity with friendly, helpful staff. Pleased with our results! The entrance didn’t have a sign so was quite tricky to find, but just go in!

It was fun to make it easy for women! It was fun to shave and it happened so fast!
It was fun choosing and making my original chopsticks! It was about less than an hour long but everything was a fantastic experience:) Grab your friends, family, or anyone to experience this amazing time!
You could choose cedar, cypress, or other lumber, and it smelled good when you shaved it. Cedar had a stronger scent. It was fun to be able to put the branding on the chopsticks that were made.
