Después del museo nos dirigimos a la catedral de Bagrati que domina la ciudad. Fue construido en el siglo XI como símbolo de la Georgia unida.
Luego nos trasladamos al monasterio de Gelati del siglo XII. Hay 3 grandes iglesias, una academia, una tumba de David el Constructor, un campanario y casas de monjes en el complejo. Fue construido por el mayor rey georgiano David The Builder.
El monasterio de Motsameta está relacionado con la historia de los torturados señores hermanos David y Constantine Mkheidze. Está construido sobre el acantilado y está rodeado por el río por 3 lados. La naturaleza y los colores alrededor del monasterio son increíbles.
Tour a pie en el centro de Kutaisi
En primer lugar, nos dirigimos a Tskaltubo y visitamos la primavera #6, donde el guía cuenta sobre la ocupación soviética. Después caminamos hacia el manantial #8 que tiene la arquitectura más inusual entre los manantiales de Tskaltubo. El siguiente lugar es Spring #5. La siguiente parada es el Sanatorio Gelati, especialmente construido para niños y hay un antiguo parque infantil y un hermoso mirador sobre la construcción interior. Después de "Gelati" caminamos hacia el sanatorio "Medea", siguiendo con "Druzhba". La última secuencia del recorrido es la estación de tren de Tskaltubo.
La última actividad del tour es la cata de vinos en el bar de vinos local - Vino ámbar. Una vez que llegamos allí el anfitrión - Irakli nos habla de los vinos y otras bebidas en su bar. La mesa con copas, vinos y aperitivos ya está preparada para nosotros. Tomamos asiento e Irakli comienza a contar sobre la historia del vino, la cultura y las técnicas de elaboración del vino en Georgia. Luego comenzamos a catar vinos uno por uno y hacemos maridaje con él. Una vez terminados los 4 vinos terminamos con Chacha que es bebida espirituosa georgiana y se elabora mediante uvas o destilación de vino. Después de terminar la experiencia los huéspedes pueden quedarse en el bar y continuar la noche con sus vinos favoritos.

This tour is perfect if you are short on time in Kutaisi as you get to see a bit of everything. The highlight was the winery visit- the food and wine were delicious and I was able to buy some wine. Special shout out to Lasha who was a fantastic guide.
Good tour to discover some highlights in Kutaisi ( the Gelati is closed for the moment for restauration) and a visit to a wineyard ( Baia & family), both our guide Saba and Baia gave us good insights and patiently answered questions. Last but not least: the Georgian spread was amazing!
This tour was fantastic ! We got to learn so much thanks to our guide. The beautiful religious architecture, the history of Gerogia, the interesting spots in Kutaissi, the wine culture... It was very fun and thanks to our guide we felt very safe during the whole time.

The trip i took with Budget Georgia is really worth the money. We spent a full day discovering historical cathedrals, got to learn about their culture. Went to the winery and what a lovely people there! The authentic Georgian food amazing!! I highly recommend booking your trips with these guys. They have also transfer services to other cities and their prices are really affordable. My guide was Mariami and she is a pleasant person. We had so much fun, laughs and good memories that i will taking home with me♥️
amazing experience. the guide was very knowledgable and we got to know a lot about georgian history. he explained us the processes of wine-making, which added more value to the experience. the dinner was unforgettable and there were even many vegan options available.
