De qué trata esta gira: Esta es una excursión de día completo desde Udaipur a las montañas de la cordillera Aravalli para ver el impresionante Fuerte Kumbhalgarh y los templos de Ranakpur. Cosas que veremos: Kumbhalgarh: Construido en la cima de una colina a 1100 metros de altitud, el fuerte de Kumbhalgarh tiene muros perimetrales que se extienden 36 kilómetros de longitud, y se dice que es el más largo del mundo después de la Gran Muralla China. Las paredes frontales tienen quince pies de espesor. Kumbhalgarh tiene siete puertas fortificadas. Más de 360 templos están dentro del fuerte, 300 antiguos jainistas y el resto hindúes. La vista desde la cima del palacio generalmente se extiende decenas de kilómetros en la Cordillera Aravalli. Ranakpur: Ranakpur alberga una colección de templos Jain sin igual en su belleza. El templo en Ranakpur está dedicado a Adinatha, el primer Jain Tirthankara (líder espiritual) que conquistó el ciclo de renacimiento y logró la iluminación.
