Si se aloja en Kotor por un par de horas solamente, se le ofrece una gran cantidad de información en un corto periodo de tiempo. Si se aloja varios días en Kotor, Perast, Tivat, Herceg Novi u otros lugares por toda la bahía Boka, es un buen punto de partida en su exploración de la región. Kotor está situada en la parte más solitaria de Boka Kotorska (la Bahía de Kotor). Mientras se remonta a la época de los ilirios, Kotor se convirtió en un importante centro comercial y centro artístico en la Edad Media. Al pasar por la Puerta del Mar, el grupo pasará de 5 a 10 minutos en la Plaza de Armas, para escuchar la historia de la Torre del Reloj y el Pilar de la Vergüenza.
Después de una parada en la Plaza de Armas, la excursión continuará hasta el Palacio de Beskuca...
La excursión nos llevará hasta el palacio Pima, donde escucharemos acerca de la vida en los hogares de Kotor hace siglos.
La excursión nos llevará a uno de los lugares emblemáticos de Kotor, la catedral de San Trifón con una breve visita guiada por la catedral.
Nuestra excursión nos llevará a la Plaza de la Marina bokeliana (Bokelian Navy Square) con el pozo de Karampana.
Continuaremos hasta el pozo de Karampana...
Llegamos a la Plaza de San Lucas con las iglesias de San Lucas y San Nicolás.

La excursión nos llevará a la iglesia Blazena Ozana y la Puerta Norte.
Echaremos un vistazo rápidamente a la Puerta del Norte y al río Skurda, antes de regresar a la Plaza de Armas, donde finalizará la excursión.

En el caso de que esto suceda, se le ofrecerá un contracargo total o una alternativa (para unirse a una excursión similar, la misma excursión en otra fecha, pagar el recargo por excursión privada).
- El recorrido no se cancelará por razones meteorológicas, vístase apropiadamente.
- No se reembolsará el importe abonado si pierde la excursión o la actividad porque el crucero se retrase o no llegue.

Old city surrounded by walls for about 4 km. Like many locations overlooking the Adriatic, it was often prey to pirates. It can be reached on foot from the port and offers truly interesting sea and beaches. Strangely, the euro is in use even though they are not yet part of the EU today. Personally, I did not know how beautiful this part of the coast was.

This was a short small group walking tour. Our guide, Marja, was engaging, clearly knew her history and enjoyed her work. She was easy to find right outside the Main Gate. The tour is only one hour, as shown in the listing, so it isn't in great depth, but does give you a good feel for this very old city in this new country (Montenegro gained independence in 2006.) At the conclusion, she provided a variety of suggestions of other ways to explore and enjoy the old town area. We would have happily spent more time with Marja.
