Amazing food tour. We stopped at 6 places that spanned from drinks, desserts, and local favorites. Our tour guides were great with sharing local history + insights about the island and town. Would recommend this to anyone!
Ellie was great. She was so knowledgeable and nice. All the stops were good. The chocolate stop needs to be permanently added. Ending with Gelato topped it off.
Great tour! Wonderful food and friendly tour guide, Ellie!!! Highly recommend!!
Wonderful food tour with drinks!!! Such a variety of taste. Food was fresh and temperature appropriate. Learned history about the Big island as well..
From start to finish - excellent tour. A must for foodies! Ellie & Ari were the best food /walking tour guides. We totally got our monies worth from this food walking tour! Kudos to Ellie & Ari for curating a well- From a creative chicken salad flavored with macadamia nuts and a dash of red pepper, to aurhentic cacoa chocolate ( i bought the critris and lavender), Musubi - gotta get the Spam in, a fresh tuna Poke, followed by awesome macadamian nut pesto pizza (best crust and toppings ever), the most incredible fish and chips (shout out to the fisherman) ending with desert! I enjoyed passion fruit gelato and my husband tried the vanilla bean and chocolate. So authentic and carefully made. Super yummy. Not to leave out beverages, we started with mango puree mamosas, a delicious Mai Tai ladeled with dark rum, local Kona beer and mango Margherita we were enjoying much of what is offered on this short tour. So much more to say BUT I will end with this: exceptional tour - worth the money!
Such a great tour. Ellie was a fabulous tour guide and took us to some great places and have us a lot of historical background. We were stuffed after our adventure so it was well worth it!!!
This was so fun!!! The food was delicious and the tour guides were the sweetest! This is a must do in Kona
Wonderful variety of food and stories about the history of Kona and Hawaiian culture. Our guides were BRILLIANT!
We took this tour yesterday when we stopped in Kona on the Pride Of America cruise with Kai and Kamaela(?) ,and it was fantastic. We learned a great deal about the historic port of Kona and had some incredible food and alcohol tastings. We made seven stops...6 food items and four alcoholic drinks ( non-alcoholic drinks were available for people not wishing to drink) The foods were varied and filling. We were so full we canceled our dinner reservations.
Great food selections. Really fun informative walking tour. Kai and Kamakea were outstanding leaders, working seamlessly together to shepherd us from one stop to the next. The stops had great views and each food selection was delicious..
