Excursión de snorkel en el parque marino Klein Bonaire

Super nice guidance and nice tour. The guided snorkeling was very nice, lots of beautiful nature seen! As an extra I had very nice videos and pictures of what we had seen! And yes, 2 turtles spotted! Thank you Larissa and Helmer!

Larissa and Helmer led us on a fantastic snorkeling adventure! Not only did we get to see the amazing creatures in the reef, Larissa talked us through what we were seeing, explained how the reef lives and grows. We felt safe, entertained, and taken care of the whole time. One of the highlights of our Bonaire visit!

Best excursion ever in over 16 cruises and countless excursions! Truly hard to beat! Larissa and Guus were our guides and MAGICALLY provided a giant pod of dolphins that swam right by us. Larissa took some photos and video and it honestly looks fake because it was so unreal and amazing! We love snorkeling and have done a lot of it in a variety of places but this was the first up close dolphin experience. I’m not sure Larissa or Guus can reproduce the dolphins again….but we also saw a sea turtle, Angel fish, squid, damsel fish, trumpet fish, tons of parrotfish, and all the other fish commonly found in the waters of Bonaire. The water was crystal clear, the boat clean, professional, and safe. Larissa allowed snorkelers to go at their own pace and because it was a drift snorkel at both locations, very little effort was required. Guus piloted the boat and waited for us at the end of each drift. Plenty of time in the water at both stops. We didn’t feel rushed and we didn’t feel like we missed anything either. So amazing!! THE MOST IMPORTANT factor for me when considering an excursion is the size of the group. I want small and personal. Nothing more miserable than being kicked in the head repeatedly while 30 plus people try to snorkel in a confined area. We only had 8 on our boat (that includes myself and my husband). You could actually experience the snorkeling without dozens of others kicking legs and squealing voices through snorkels while they stir up sand and knock into coral. Larissa carefully explained the snorkeling equipment as well as showed us pictures and explanations of what we could expect to see while snorkeling. She was incredibly informative ahead of time and while in the water, stopped to point out things and dive down to make sure we saw as much as possible. This was our second trip to Bonaire and the first was such a let down. I’m so glad we booked Bonaire again and so glad we chose Aqua Fun Bonaire for this excursion. We’ll be back and we’ll choose them every time. Can’t be beat!

This was a spectacular experience. The tour guides were great. They were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Can't recommend this enough.

I was really nervous about snorkeling and it turned out to be the most fun out of everything we did on the trip. I felt safe the whole time and seeing all the coral and fish and even a sea turtle was incredible!

This was a very nice and good snorkeling trip. Lots of explanation about what you can see underwater etc, boat sails with you so you can get out of the water whenever you want. You sail by boat to small Bonaire, where you are dropped off in the water with a guide and you float / swim with the current. Everything is on board in terms of snorkeling equipment, fins, good snorkel sets and buoyancy when you want it. Nice guide and good guidance, really a fantastic experience!

Our guide was incredible — she truly went out of her way to show us the best spots to find fish and made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. This was a small group of about 9 or 10 people, which made everything feel relaxed and easy to enjoy. There were two team members from Aqua Fun with us: one who drove the boat and our snorkeling guide who got in the water with us. She took her time pointing out unique coral features and showing us exactly where different fish like to hide. We also had the freedom to explore on our own as long as we stayed reasonably close to the group, which was the perfect balance of guidance and independence. I would absolutely book this same tour again. The only thing I wish is that there was a clearer landmark or business to meet at. That said, they did pick us up by boat very close to the cruise port, and I met them right on time without any issues. Overall, a wonderful experience that I’d happily repeat.

They did an excellent job showing and educating us about marine life. Non-alcoholic drinks were provided along with pictures of the marine life found on our snorkeling tour (all included).
