⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful tour of Nijo Castle with Tomoya, and we highly recommend it! Tomoya is a passionate world traveler with outstanding knowledge of Japanese history. He explained the story of the shoguns, emperors, and Nijo Castle in such a clear and engaging way that everything came to life and was easy to understand. Despite the extreme heat (37°C), he was incredibly thoughtful and flexible. He regularly offered breaks, optional routes, shortcuts, and alternative activities, making sure everyone could enjoy the tour at their own pace. He also showed genuine care for every guest, adapting the experience to individual needs. Thanks to Tomoya, we learned so much while having a fantastic afternoon. If you’re visiting Kyoto and want to truly understand Nijo Castle and its history, this tour is an excellent choice. Thank you, Tomoya!

Beautiful Niko castle was an excellent tour. Ours was led by Kris who has a deep knowledge of the history and culture of Japan. Bonus points for the air conditioned cafe onsite as ours was during very hot summer days. Highly recommend the tour and bonus if you get Kris!
Wry informative but much too long. Lots of walking and lots of heat in summer. 100 characters is too high minimum. 100 characters makes this too annoying to comlte
