La sesión comienza con una introducción clara y perspicaz a los antecedentes culturales y la filosofía de la ceremonia del té. Luego observarás una demostración del anfitrión, donde cada movimiento se realiza con cuidado, precisión e intención. Después de eso, prepararás tu propio matcha, guiado paso a paso. Al final de la experiencia, no solo sabrás cómo hacer matcha, sino que también obtendrás una comprensión más profunda de la cultura Japonesa y experimentarás una sensación de calma. Esta experiencia es ideal para aquellos que buscan algo más significativo que una actividad turística típica. Se incluyen 2 tazones de Matcha (uno del anfitrión, otro hecho por usted o con un acompañante) y dulces tradicionales Japoneses de temporada. Convenientemente situado a solo 5 minutos a pie de la estación de metro Karasuma Oike. También puede continuar la experiencia en casa —preparando matcha para usted o para alguien especial— utilizando tazas de té cuidadosamente seleccionadas y matcha disponibles para su compra en el lugar.

We have been to Kyoto 5 times, family from the United States and by far this was the best learning experience for tea making and learning the tea culture. It was a beautiful ceremony and our children, ages 6 and 8, loved it and got to participate. Perfect right amount of time associated for kids this age and adults. We highly recommend this tea experience.

The ceremony is more than just matcha. It's about understanding the philosophy behind. The tea master has also explained the history before the ceremony developed to what we see nowadays. I chose to absorb the whole ceremony in my mind instead of photos. The experience is not something replaceable.
