Ruta Marangu: Conocida como la ruta “Coca-Cola”, la ruta Marangu es una caminata clásica en el Monte Kilimanjaro. Es la ruta más antigua, mejor establecida. Muchos prefieren la ruta Marangu porque se considera que es el camino más fácil en la montaña, dada su pendiente gradual. También es la única ruta que ofrece cabañas para dormir en alojamientos de estilo dormitorio. Los días mínimos requeridos para esta ruta son cinco, aunque la probabilidad de alcanzar con éxito la cima en ese período de tiempo es bastante baja. Pasar un día adicional de aclimatación en la montaña es muy recomendable cuando se sube a Klimanjaro utilizando la ruta Marangu. Sin embargo, a pesar de su inmensa popularidad, evitamos las escaladas principales en la ruta Marangu. La ruta tiene la menor variedad escénica de todas las rutas porque el ascenso y descenso se realizan en el mismo camino y es la ruta más concurrida por esa razón. Marangu se favorece solo durante la temporada de lluvias, donde se prefieren los alojamientos de cabañas.

I was second year university student when I decided to save money to climb #Kilimanjaro after I graduate, and here today share some of my favorite moments. Kilimanjaro it’s not a part of a chain like the Himalayas, its hanging out all alone, in the middle of Africa. It stands 19.341 FT / 5,985 M above sea level. I experienced all sorts of climates from the first day as we hiked up to the top. During the first two days rocked pens and a T- shirts as we hiked through rainforest like areas, by day three I’d switched to a long sleeve shirt due to colder mornings, but as you’ll see in the future (I know you’re going to hike too…kidding) by the time I hate the summit I had on so many layers I couldn’t put my arms down. I celebrated my success and my graduation in the highest free standing mountain in the world, such feeling lives with me up to today, surely I will go back there for Safari and culture tour in the coming days.
