We had a wonderful walking tour with the Khiva based company Tourmania. Our guide Shaxzodabonu was very knowledgeable, answered our many questions patiently and in detail and conducted the tour at a good pace....not too fast and not too slow. In four hours we saw a wide range of madrasah, mosques and museums. Bonu was friendly, professional and has excellent English. I'd highly reccommend her and the company for an enjoyable tour of the wonderful old city of Khiva.

I wandered around Ichankara Fortress in Khiva in about 3 or 4 hours. The guide explains a little less, and you can look around slowly. Don't forget water and sunscreen during hot weather!

Khiva is an amazing city and in Shoxzodabonu we had the perfect guide! She was super informative and very patient with all our questions. She had a true understanding of the places inside the walled city and genuinely wanted to tell us all about her home town!
Great tour of ichan kala (inner Khiva). To see all the sights but also learning about them and the history of Khiva. Our guide also provided great recommendations for things to do and see outside ichan kala (in the city).

The Mohi guide was really really nice. The tour with her was fantastic, she explained everything in detail. Very good! 4 hours intense and full of information but, it was really worth it.
