Itinerario

We had the greatest time kayaking with Carlos! I e never seen so many different wild birds and flamingos. We even saw a crocodile! Very fun. If it’s windy you will Get an arm Workout!
Well organized kayak tour by very knowledgeable guide. Explained in great detail visible flora and fauna and ecological importance of mangroves. Great activity for all - highly recommended!

This was an amazing tour¡ We were thrilled to see crocodiles and flamingos and many other birds. Kayaking through the mangroves is very tranquil and inspiring. Our guide Diego was very informative and knowledgeable, patient and passionate about the reserve. We highly recommend this tour if you enjoy kayaking and the sunset on the water was beautiful.
Excellent tour! We decided to go on the 6 am sunrise one and it was fantastic! Ivan our guide clearly loves what he does He had so many incredible facts about the animals and marvelled in the flock of Flamingos alongside us. So many birds and several crocs. Even my teenagers loved this! Highly recommend!
I enjoyed the experience! the guide came to pick us up at the hotel on time and was very kind. the reason why I gave it 3 stars is because I had never kayaked in my life before the activity, but it said that it was ok to not have any experience. So I was surprised the the guide did not even ask us if we knew how to use the paddles, nor did the explain how. I was lucky that my partner knew how: he explained to me how to use my paddles. I am not sure I had the right movement because my shoulders ended up hurting a lot after kayaking for 2 hours. the nature was beautiful but we found it difficult to hear the guide because we were not kayaking as fast as him the guide would explain wildlife and ask us questions but it was often hard to hear
Guided kayaking tour with pick-up and drop off. Our group was small, just 5 of us plus the guide. Pick-up was before dawn, so we watched the sunrise from the water. Good birdwatching. As the tide was out, we also walked a little on the edge of the reserve. Well organized.
The tour was mediocre. The guide was friendly but barely spoke English. We were there at sunrise, and there were at least 4 other tours at the same time, which probably explains why we didn't see much wildlife. Of the wildlife we saw, the guide couldn't tell us much (probably because of the lack of English). We did see some baby crocodiles which was nice, but overall the tour was quite underwhelming. There was no drinking water provided, even though it said it would in the description.
The mangrove ecosystem was fantastic! I recommend the early morning if you hope to experience the crocodiles, we saw five! The guides picked us up at our hotel and returned us, saving us time and cab fare. PSA: mosquitos are for real! Be prepared.
My friend and I could have rented a 2 person kayak for less money and got the same experience. The tour guide gave no insight into the mangroves, nor did he give any guidance on how to navigate the waters. The last part of the tour is essentially in the open ocean and the currents were strong, the tour guide offered no help with this and just paddled ahead to the shore
Lovely exploration of a different part of Holbox Great experience with interesting explanations of various mangrove types, roles they play in sustaining the island, range of bird species, and we saw one alligator 🐊 sunning itself and another swimming with eyes and nostrils above water Abraham was a terrific guide, we had a nice break in the shallows with snacks, then a gorgeous sunset on final paddle home More exercise than I expected but in a good way!!
