Durante nuestra temporada de invierno, (finales de noviembre a abril) Nuestros tours de la tarde no ofrecen buceo. Usamos ese tiempo para observar ballenas y atardecer. Venga a unirse a nosotros para un increíble tour de 5 horas de snorkel y almuerzo, en la impresionante costa de NaPali juntos! Este lugar tiene un inmenso significado histórico y alberga una variedad de vida marina, incluidos los delfines. - Nuestro límite de edad es de 4 años en adelante en nuestros buques más grandes y de 9 años en adelante en nuestros buques más pequeños.
- EMBARAZO Hacemos excepciones para los embarazos durante nuestros meses de verano solamente, ( junio, julio y agosto ) cuando las condiciones del océano son más tranquilas. Las mujeres que están embarazadas pueden participar en este tour hasta las 22 semanas de gestación, junto con su aprobación médica. Una nota médica debe ser enviada por un médico, directamente a Makana Charters por correo electrónico o fax y debe ser aprobada por la dirección antes de reservar una reserva. This is our second year going on a makana charters boat trip. It was, once again, the highlight of our family vacation with kids (9 and 11). The staff (this time Shawn and Lionel) were incredible with my kids, swimming with them and encouraging them, and great with my sister who got a little motion sick while snorkeling. They even lent her those cool glasses that helped a lot with her sickness. The food is great, they are knowledgeable locals, and we had a ton of fun bouncing around the boat and swimming in that amazing water. We'll make this a tradition for sure.
This tour is fantastic! I highly recommend it. Uncle Tony and his team are amazing.
Our family of 4 went on the Amelia K tour of the Na Pali Coast during the week of July 19th, 2026. The captain and the crew were fantastic! The crew made a point to get around and talk with every family and person on the boat. They seemed genuinely interested in conversing with us. The captain did a phenomenal job of navigating the waters, making a comfortable ride, and even moving in and out of caves with expertise and ease. He was thoughtful about the waters, the views, and the overall climate in order to get us the best experience. Our daughter (11yo) and son (8yo) did get nauseous for a bit, but the crew was quick to provide ice cubes, ginger chews, and anything else we needed. If you're worried about seasickness, I might suggest a larger boat (we all got a little queasy at some point). But there were also long stretches of faster, smooth riding and getting out to snorkel/swim helped. Would highly recommend! The only thing I wish is that the price was lower per person, as we could have given more of a tip to the crew.

The scenery is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Also, if you are sensitive to motion, highly recommend Dramamine. The crew was awesome, saw dolphins, saw the most amazing cliffs around. Snorkeling was amazing as well Such an enjoyable time!!!
The trip was great. We enjoyed the beautiful coast, and the stories about the Hawaiian people who lived here, and the rock and cave formations. The ride was a little bumpy because of the rough waves, but it was fun. We didn't snorkel, because we had snorkeled earlier in our trip, but those who did enjoyed it.
It was a great tour overall, we had the privilege to see dolphins TWICE & go underneath a waterfall & inside a cave. The tour experience was great overall but we didn’t snorkel & that was the main reason for booking the trip. Was a bit disappointed.
This boat trip was a fantastic way to see the Napali coast. Captain Mike, Lilian and Nikki were a fantastic crew who made the trip fun, educational and safe! Highly recommend this tour.
Long time to be on a boat in potentially rough ocean, but the views are well worth it. Crew makes it an enjoyable outing.
Bring towels, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Also your own snorkel gear if you prefer. Trip was beautiful with fun antidotes. Would do again.
