Itinerario

We had the most amazing private tour organised by Giga for my Mother's 60th birthday. Our guide Georgio was fantastic, such great company and super knowledgable about Georgia history and wine making (also a very good driver!) The highlight for us was the meal at the local village winemakers house - the food was the best we had in Georgia and fully accomodated us being vegetarian. The wine was equally as excellent and always flowing, not an empty glass in sight! The setting in the garden was idealic, sat in the shade with chick's roaming around. The final stop at the vineyard ran by two brothers was also incredible - talking us through the wine making process and their special family story carrying on their father's legacy. The wine was excellent - both Georgian style and European style. Their sparkling wine was dangerously delicious! It was an all round magical day, I couldn't recommend it enough. Don't think twice about going on this tour!
We really enjoyed the experience. The program of the tour was well-structured, with just enough activities but not overwhelming. The fact that the tour is private also allowed for flexibility to stay longer or shorter in places depending on how we felt. The transfer car was very comfortable. Giga provided information along the tour and was ready to answer questions, but didn’t overload us with information, which we also appreciated. Giga is very friendly and thoughtful. The highlight of the trip was a lunch prepared by his family in a beautiful peaceful garden. The food was amazing, with authentic tastes. We also really enjoyed the Vellini winery included in the program — it’s one of the smaller ones and has probably the best wines we’ve ever tried in Georgia, much higher quality than usual.
We had an excellent private tour of Kakheti with Giorgi as both our driver and guide. He was punctual, friendly, funny, and spoke very good English, which made the whole day easy and enjoyable. The driving was very safe and comfortable, with good air conditioning and a relaxed pace throughout the day. Giorgi was also very knowledgeable, explaining Georgian history, wine culture, and the places we visited without ever over-talking. He gave great recommendations, helped with photos, and made the experience feel personal rather than rushed. We visited several small and medium-sized family wineries, and also had lunch at a local family house, which was one of the highlights of the day. On the way back, Giorgi mentioned a large church nearby, and when I asked if we could make a short stop, he happily did it free of charge despite the extra hassle and showed us around properly. Highly recommended.
The best experience and tour we have been on in Georgia. Very well thought out with a great number of stops and information. We went to lots of places we wouldn’t have otherwise, and was great to get off the usual tourist trail and stops. Giga was a fantastic guide and we are very grateful. A unique experience and a must do in Georgia! Thank you so much
This tour was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Georgia! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and our guide was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. His passion for Georgian culture, history, and winemaking made every stop along the way even more special. The absolute highlight of the day was the wonderful lunch at our guide’s own winery. We were treated to authentic homemade Georgian dishes, all freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The hospitality was exceptional, making us feel more like guests of the family than tourists. The wine tasting was equally impressive – we sampled several excellent wines, each with its own unique character, and it was fascinating to hear the stories and traditions behind them. The rest of the tour was just as memorable. The breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley, the charming streets of Sighnaghi, the historic sites, and the authentic local experiences made this a truly unforgettable day. Every location we visited was beautiful and offered a deeper insight into the rich culture and traditions of Kakheti. If you are looking for an authentic, high-quality experience away from the typical tourist crowds, this tour is an absolute must. A huge thank you to our guide for his outstanding hospitality, expertise, and for sharing his winery, wines, and culture with us. Highly recommended! Giga is a masterclass⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent tour. Giga, our tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable. It was a great way to see Kakheti and to enjoy the Georgian hospitality. The lunch at the family's house was amazing with lots of great home-cooked food. We enjoyed wine tasting at two different vineyards as well as learning about Georgian wine making. I would definitely recommend this tour, and it was the highlight of our time in Georgia.
Here’s a draft: An outstanding day from start to finish. My guide, Giga, was knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate — the service was exceptional throughout. What really set this tour apart was the selection of wineries: thoughtfully curated small family estates that you simply won’t find on the typical group tours in the region. Each stop felt personal and authentic, with wonderful wines and real insight into Georgian winemaking. The homemade traditional lunch was delicious — a true taste of Georgian hospitality. Highly recommend to anyone who takes their wine and food seriously. Five stars without hesitation.
Lovely day exploring this picturesque part of the country. The highlight is the lunch, which is the ultimate experience of Georgian hospitality, and learning about the traditional wine making is very unique.
Would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Our guid Giorgi was fantastic and he was extremely knowledgeable. We were picked up at 9am and dropped off around 6:30pm. The day was broken up really well with stops on the way to the main event. We visited some historical sites and then a small family ran winery it was absolutely beautiful and the wine was delicious. We then stopped and walked along one of the longest walls in Europe, stopped off at a small stall where we could see the traditional bread making and sample both bread and cheese at no extra cost to ourselves. We also visited a nunnery with a beautiful garden and views from the mountain. The highlight was the family who hosted us for food and more homemade wine, their home was breathtaking and they were so kind, the food was incredible and they had also made a cake for my partners birthday. This trip was such good value for money and when doing the wine tasting there was no limit to what we could try or how much we could drink. We were also given some chacha that was surprising really good! Again would highly recommend for anyone to book on and do this tour!
Giga was a great guide that taught us so a lot about history, culture, regions, terrain, and wine. It was a fantastic and memorable experience I would love to do again!
