My husband and I have travelled the world and this tour was the best we’ve ever experienced. Our guide was inspiring, energized, knowledgeable and very passionate regarding Fijian culture. It was an entire day that kept our group entertained from start to finish. No activity was rushed: swimming near a waterfall, an adventurous but safe boat ride through rapids, a slow ride on a bamboo raft, watching dancing and singing during a kava ceremony, and a basket weaving demonstration. The buffet was spectacular with true Fijian dishes (the chicken and fish prepared in a covered pit). We were greeted warmly by all the adults and the children and it was actually hard to say goodbye. If I could recommend one thing, it would be to take items for the village people, especially the children. My husband and I took small gifts (toiletries/toys) and the smiles on their faces made our day.
Bula & Vinaka for visiting us and sharing your kindness and love with the children and the people of the village - much appreciated. We are happy to know your day with us was informative and worthwhile. Vinaka Vakalevu Scott Manager
What a fabulous experience. We travelled with a 5 and 9 year old and both loved it.. what a great mix of adventure and culture 🌺 Lunch was great too! Highly recommend
This was our group's favorite tour. Our grandkids especially enjoyed swimming in the waterfall pool. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. After the rafting we were welcomed to the village and taught a lot about Fijian culture and how the craft skills of the past are still practiced today. Book this tour early, especially if your stay coincides with a cruise ship stopover in Suva. If you have mobility issues, you might give it a pass.
This was such a good excursion. From start to finish our guide Isaac was excellent. Four activities in this tour, the final one ending at the cultural village. This was one of the best I have done. We had a lot of interesting information from Isaac, singing and dancing by and with the villagers and a fantastic home cooked Fijian meal. I would most definitely recommend this tour.
Bula Vinaka! Thank you for your candid comments and we are so glad to know your day with us was well spent. Vinaka Vakalevu Scott
Had a wonderful experience on the river and the waterfall pool. Hosts were knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend d the tour
Amazing boat trip up the Navua River and into the Fijian rainforest. Nem was a great guide, full of local knowledge and very funny. Short walk from rivers edge to an amazing waterfall where you can swim. Travelling back down the river we took amazing trip on the HMS Unsinkable (Bamboo raft) so much fun. The village was great, with Kava ceremony, amazing local food and a guide to some of the local crafts and traditions.
Fabulous day, I'm not sure I can put into words how fabulous the day was. It ended up just the 2 of us which meant we had the undivided attention of our guide Nem. Nem was so knowledgeable, kind, funny and welcoming. We went up the river to a glorious waterfall in places the water was quite shallow and at one point we walked along the river bank. Waterfall was spectacular (5mins walk from river). Water just the right temp, a little cool but so refreshing. The welcome back to the village and cultural ceremony was just brilliant. The ladies were gorgeous and welcoming and the food was excellent. I absolutely recommend this tour if you are visiting Fiji. If you do it, say hi to Nem and captain Gavin for me.
