Esta es una experiencia única. Wadi Rum es un desierto singular en nuestro planeta tierra. Podrás ver el desierto de arena roja y blanca, y también hacer sandboard en una duna de arena roja. También puedes caminar en una de las hermosas montañas que tenemos en este escenario extraordinario y ver el atardecer o la puesta del sol mientras la luna se va a dormir o hace su primera aparición en la noche. Podrás dar un paseo en camello rodeado de este espectacular paisaje, y también podrás dar de comer a los camellos que viven en libertad en el desierto desde el jeep si se acercan a ti. El espectáculo de colores que puedes ver en Wadi Rum te cautivará una vez que pongas los pies descalzos en la arena. Y sobre todo, puedes hacer todo esto con un beduino, el pueblo originario del desierto de Wadi Rum desde hace siglos.

Itinerario
¿Qué vamos a hacer? Durante el tour en jeep de 8h en Wadi Rum estarás en el Área Protegida del desierto, y experimentarás los lugares más relevantes y hermosos del Valle. Podrás ver camellos, beber té beduino y también hacer sandboard en las dunas de arena del desierto de Wadi Rum, verás paisajes increíbles y únicos, y una de las cosas más bonitas que puedes hacer en el desierto es ver la puesta del sol en este escenario único. Visitarás Lawrence Spring, Khazali Canyon, Little Rock Bridge, Lawrence House, Mushroom rock, Burdah Rock Bridge, Abu Khashaba Canyon, Um Frouth Rock Bridge y terminaremos el recorrido viendo la puesta del sol. Nuestro punto de partida es la Rest House -Casa de Descanso- de Wadi Rum en Wadi Rum Village -el pueblo de Wadi Rum-, que se encuentra a unos 7 km del Visitor Center -Centro de Visitantes. Y también podemos recogerte en el campamento. Una vez que terminemos el recorrido, te llevaremos de regreso al Visitor Center -Centro de visitantes. También puedes acordar con nosotros el regreso a tu campamento.
Una vez que nos encontremos en Wadi Rum Village, conduciremos para recorrer la primera parada, el templo Nabateo. El templo fue construido alrededor del primer siglo AC
El siguiente lugar será Lawrence Spring, donde podrás ver camellos, subir a la montaña para ver el manantial y tener una hermosa vista del desierto.
Luego te llevaremos a una duna de arena roja, donde podrás subir a la cima, jugar con la arena y tomar lindas fotografías del desierto.
Nuestro próximo lugar tradicional a visitar es Khazali Canyon, donde verás petroglifos antiguos.
Luego nos dirigiremos a Small Rock Bridge -Pequeño Puente de Roca-, donde caminarás por una pequeña montaña donde podrás cruzar el Puente en la cima y ver el desierto.
La última parada antes del almuerzo será Lawrence's House, una cueva en el desierto de Wadi Rum donde subirás a la montaña y verás las mismas vistas que tenía Lawrence cuando vivía en el desierto con los beduinos.
Ha llegado la hora del almuerzo. Tu guía beduino preparará la comida después de encender un fuego en un lugar tranquilo en el desierto. Después del almuerzo, descansarás un tiempo después de continuaremos el recorrido.
Después de la hora del almuerzo comenzamos con la primera parada, Mushroom Rock. Llamamos a esta piedra como un milagro de la naturaleza o un milagro del Creador durante siglos de viento y lluvias.
La montaña Burdah será el siguiente lugar, donde verás desde los pies el puente de roca que comprende los tres arcos más grandes de Wadi Rum, encaramado a unos 80 m por encima de la roca circundante. Su altura y su ubicación ofrecen una de las puestas de sol más increíbles que jamás hayas experimentado.
Continuaremos conduciendo hasta el Cañón Rojo y la duna de arena. Este es un hermoso y relajante paseo. Te dejaremos en un lado del Cañón y te veremos en el otro lado, donde podrás hacer sand boarding en una duna de arena roja.
La última parada del día será el puente Umm Frouth Rock. Este es uno de los lugares más destacados de Wadi Rum. Subirás a una roca y caminarás por este singular Puente de Roca. Esta será la última actividad del día antes de ver el atardecer.
Uno de los momentos más hermosos del recorrido es ir a un lugar bonito en el desierto para ver la puesta de sol. Encontrarás la guinda del pastel una vez que disfrutes este tiempo con té beduino y rodeado de este increíble escenario en el Área Protegida por la UNESCO de Wadi Rum.

We booked a day tour with overnight stay in a Bedouin tent with Fares Wadi Rum. The experience is unique and will remain indelible in our hearts, Maria and Fares entrusted us to Youssef (Fares' brother) who accompanied us into the desert with a jeep, we left the village (reached by Petra by taxi which, if desired can be booked directly by them) at about 9 am and we made several stops with a stop for lunch prepared in a tent by Youssef who took care of us with unique courtesy and affection. The various stops allow you not only to admire unique natural beauty but also to go hiking and sand boarding, at each stop there are tents that offer free tea and sell local products and crafts. I stress for free because for us Westerners to pay even just a glass of water is a given, let's not forget that we are in the desert and water is the most precious asset there can be, offering it is a gesture of hospitality and care. Youssef is an experienced guide, and a great driver, despite having a problem with a knee he found the solution to make me get on and off the pick up with agio. Dopo sunset, which remains a breathtaking natural spectacle, you reach the camp where you can leave your luggage in a tent, use the toilet and dine all together around the fire in the main tent equipped with sofas with cushions and very comfortable seats. We witnessed the extraction of the grilled meat in the sand. We spent the night in our tent, discreet beds and equipped with many blankets to protect ourselves from the cold. The moonless sky gave us the feeling of being floating among the stars in a sea of blue. The next morning a hearty and delicious breakfast said good morning, then we said goodbye to everything and were driven back to the village where another taxi already booked was waiting to take us to Aquaba. We recommend anyone who wants to live an unforgettable day to turn to Fares and Maria, the view and the beauty of nature are there for anyone but the ability to make you feel welcomed and welcome is a rare quality and for that we thank them.

It was a great experience to explore the Wadi Rum and we are happy we've done it with Fares's team. We've made the 2 days tour and overnight. Our tour guide was Rashid, a very nice and funny guy and also a perfect driver. He showed us many different places around the desert and explained us a lot about bedouin culture. In the evening, once we arrived at the camp, we had dinner and we ate traditional bedouin food, it was delicious, the best one we've tried in Jordan. We spent great time eating and talking all together around the fireplace. After dinner we watched the stars for a while and then we slept in a tent for the first time in our life, it was an incredible experience. We recommend this tour because we think it would be hard to find better hospitality than this. Thank you very much for everything!

Unforgettable experience in Fares desert camp. Hosting was very warm, food was awesome. Camp was clean and comfortable.
