Itinerario

It was my first time in Jaipur and this tour was an excellent introduction to this amazing city, full of life, colour and history. Gaurav, with his local knowledge of his city and its history, and excellent English, was the perfect guide, and great company too! He quickly picked up on our particular interests - the havelis and markets - and showed us places we could never have found on our own, without getting completely lost! Highly recommended!

Gaurav will be thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the walking tour around and through the heritage and local markets in the old city that makes Jaipur what it's really is, a vibrant city full of colors. he knows the old city like a back of his hand so not surprised how happy you were be taken to back blocks that is never easy for the travelers to find on their own. Gaurav is a very engaging guide with a font of knowledge so you can be sure about a great day out there. Thank you for your kind recommendation and all the best!

We were a group of 4 on our first ever visit to India and decided on Abby & Scout Tours after extensive online research (huge shoutout with thanks to fellow reviewers!). The challenge: Hit all highlights of the Golden Triangle in 7 days plus shopping and foodie tryouts on the side. Transporting from one city to another took around 20 hours even though we took the flight from Jodhpur to Delhi. During the trip we developed a taste for Ayurvedic treatments and wanted to squeeze that into the schedule. Our visit coincided with Mr. Trump's visit to the great Taj Mahal hence itinerary was changed to accommodate the closure of the city blocks. The highlights: Not the sights, shopping or food (though important), but our guide Mr. Sabir Sheikh. He gave new definition to the term "super guide" as he went the extra mile to accommodate every little request we made, from the iconic pictures and must-try street food to the unique experiences, such as tuk tuk around the markets, riding in an open jeep to the Tiger Fort (sunscreen and scarf recommended), dropping in unannounced to a wedding (inspired by the 3 Idiots movie) and shopping at every opportunity we get (showcasing the bargaining powers of Mr. Sabir). Note VAT charges on clothing items and food vary but can add up to 20% of the total costs. Also special thanks to our driver, Mr. Jaypal-ji, a man of few words and very steady hands on the wheel, and our guide Mr. Suresh in Jodhpur, who took obvious pride in his city and the beautiful Mehrangarh Fort. The tour is highly recommended only if you're looking for sterling service and outstanding experiences in the Golden Triangle. To answer a question I frequently get: Is a tour guide necessary? For this particular trip, my short answer is yes because a) we did not have the luxury of time, b) we did not have the local knowledge nor speak the local language. Having an experienced tour guide and strong follow-up from Abby & Scout (which checked on our progress with Mr. Sabir constantly) afforded us peace of mind.
Many thanks, Bestitall for this glowing review of your 08 Day India golden triangle private tour with Jodhpur. We are absolutely delighted to hear your maiden trip to India was a wonderful experience and that Shabir, Jaypal and Suresh went extra miles to really made the tour for you. Our team loves working with the guests to tailor the entire tour around their preferences and keep perfecting until they are happy. We were aware of Mr. Trump's visit and kept an eye on it to ensure you you do not miss out on the great Taj Mahal tour. Sabir will be thrilled with your high words of appreciation and that you found a super guide in him. He is a great addition to the team and brings a high level of passion, experience and customer focus to his job. His aim at the start of the tour is to exceed guests' expectations and he does it so well as not only the prime sites but taking guests' to back block, walk around the local markets to get a touch of local life. Nahargarh fort is a perfect spot to end the day with a stunning sunset and you are right as it is warm out there so sunscreen and scarf are quite helpful. The care Jaypal extends to his guest is paramount and he has mastered the art of safe driving. Suresh's love for Jodhpur would be well seen in his incredible passion. He has been guiding for many years and is still very excited about touring through this beautiful blue city. Thank you for valuable insight on how having a tour guide touring around India golden triangle can help you get the best out of your trip. Indeed, an experienced tour guide can keep things organized and make your travel easier. A good collaboration between the office team and tour guide can elevate a good tour to a great one. Knowing how happy you were with your choice to choose us and the value you felt the tour represented and highly recommending our golden triangle private tour packages is truly gratifying as it endorse the quality and dedicated service we offer. It was a pleasure to have you travel with us. Thanks again for your booking and your support is greatly appreciated
