Although it was just for one day, Joe had been a wonderful guide to my family. He had been very kind and bought us hand warmer packs making sure to keep us warm. Most importantly, he made sure to bring us to non-spicy restaurants as my elderly mom has a gastric problem and can't have spicy food. Great job Joe and This Is Korea, and special shout out to Harry Hong and Kevin Hong who assisted with all the bookings. Thank you!
My guide, David Park, arrived on time to pick me up from the hotel. The pace for all the trips was excellent. I didn't feel rushed. I also had an excellent chat with David all the way there and back about many things. We also shared a lunch and many laughs. Definitely recommend having him as a guide if you're planning on going to Nami, Petit France, and Garden of Morning Calm. Given that he has brought many visitors, he is in tune with what they find most and least interesting. I went with his recommendations and was very happy at the end of my trip. Although there are places where you can get lunch and water, I'd recommend bringing a bottle of water. Also, wear some comfy shoes since there's a lot of walking.
When traveling, it is important to stick to your own pace. In that respect, I think David led your tour well. It is very important for the guide to talk to guests, find out their interests, and introduce the food they want. I am also very happy to hear that David had such a great time with you. Next time you come to Korea, please be sure to contact our company again.
Had a great time visiting Nami island and Alpaca World even if it was raining. Would recommend this company if you want customizable tours and excellent service. Our tour guide, Kris, was great and attentive to our needs, especially for our little toddler. He even provided us with car seat which she loved! He even gave us tips for our next trip.
The island is beautiful, interesting and peaceful. The gardens are lovely and the bonsai trees amazing. I definitely recommend this peaceful, enjoyable day trip.
Had a great day tour with my family. Especially at Petite France... bright and beautiful colours. Special mention to our tour guide, Matt Cho, who did a great job bringing us around the whole day.
We enjoyed our trip very much. Tour Guide, Chris was awesome. He gave us information about the places we visited. He gave us tips as to the popular spots in the area. He gave us time and space to look around the place and to take pictures. He's very organized. He is usually attentive to our needs such as restroom use, lunch, snacks. I travelled with my young daughter and my mom. This is KOREA tours is highly recommended. It was recommended by former co-worker and I'm glad I chose this day trip with them. Thank you!!!
This is Korea Tours (Seoul) is a very convinient and relaxing way to see their beautiful spots, specially their Cherry blossom festivals. It was so easy to get a booking and worth the price of what you payed. We got a private tour for our group (4pax) and Don Lee was assigned to us. He was our driver and our tour guide as well. He was everything that you could asked for as a tour guide. He speaks english so well and could explain to you history of spots that you visit. He even took nice pictures of us. He'll passed for a flying rate of 10 (scale of 1-10). We will definitely book with them again if we happen to go back to Seoul next time. This site is highly recommended.
Colourful trees, Petit France beautiful place and go along way, there are many many places to take photos.
I booked a last minute tour via email with This Is Korea to Nami Island. Mr Matt Cho was appointed to be our tour guide to bring us to Nami Island and Petit France. From the very start of the tour, my wife and I as well as our 2 young girls had a great time. Mr Cho was professional, extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. From the time he picked us up in his vehicle (which was spacious, clean and very comfortable) he was talking to us about the history of Korea, the culture and the language. Even though this was to be a sightseeing tour of Nami Island and the region, Mr Cho explained a lot about Seoul and the surrounding areas as we made our way to Petit France. While at Petit France, Mr Cho brought us to all the hidden picturesque photo spots and took some excellent photos for us using both my camera as well as his own camera. Not only was he an excellent tour guide, he was quite an avid photographer as well. He catered to our dining request at lunch time, bringing us to try a particular dish that my wife had been dying to taste. Nami Island itself is a beautiful island. It was cultivated to be a breathtaking place with nice cycle walking trails amid tall trees. There are beautiful spots everywhere you turn. The downside is the sheer number of tourists on the island. It's easy to get lost in the crowd, especially near the ferry terminal. We were fortunate to have Mr Cho guide us past the crowded tourist areas to the fringes of the island where there were nice views and great photo ops. He was also great with my kids, they were certainly enjoying themselves despite the long walks and the cold weather. As there wasn't much to see at the Garden of Morning Calm on the day of the tour, Mr Cho provided an alternative to the itinerary which turned out to be an excellent suggestion. We had a lot of fun on the rail bike and ended off the tour with an excellent dinner back in Seoul and closer to our hotel. This was an awesome tour and I highly recommended it to all who are considering visiting Nami Island. If you can request for Mr Cho.
My friend and I booked a one-day trip to Nami Island and Petite France. The booking was made at very last minute and on Sunday, yet we received prompt confirmation from the company. The arrangement for the whole day was more than satisfactory. Special thanks to our tour guide Matt who offered proactive services in taking very professional photos for us, and shared with us the history and different stories of Korea. Matt was generous in offering help, ensuring we had a pleasant day and trying his best to take us to the places that we wanted to see despite there was time constraints. We were thrilled to receive the nice photos from him not long after he dropped us off in the evening. Highly recommended tour!!!
