Nuestro viaje comienza desde Papafragas o la "piscina volcánica", donde nos preguntaremos por un rato en este pintoresco lugar, se puede mirar hacia abajo en las aguas turquesas transparentes. Phylakopi que es nuestra próxima parada, aquí le presentará esta posición prehistórica. A poca distancia en coche de Phylakopi nos lleva a la famosa Sarakiniko , el único 'Paisaje lunar'. El hermoso lugar es una de las muchas maravillas geológicas de la isla y quizás uno de los lugares más fotografiados en las Cícladas! Tomaremos una pared por la ensenada para que pueda experimentar esta playa única y tomar algunas fotos. Desde allí viajaremos hacia Plaka y sus calles y callejones empedrados. En la capital de Milos tendrá el tiempo de admirar su arquitectura tradicional y su impresionante vista del mar desde la terraza de Panagia Korfiatissa. La siguiente parada es el Anfiteatro Romano de mármol. recientemente restaurado.

Papafragas es un conjunto de ensenadas de aguas profundas y cuevas marinas. Está ubicado en la base de un prístino barranco que fue moldeado por la actividad volcánica.
Phylakopi es un asentamiento que data del Neolítico. Mientras excavaban, los arqueólogos descubrieron herramientas hechas de obsidiana, un vidrio volcánico similar al granito. También ese fue el lugar donde se descubrió a la 'Dama de Phylakopi'.
Sarakiniko es una ensenada de formaciones rocosas de color blanco puro esculpidas por erupciones volcánicas. ¡Es un paisaje único!
Plaka es una Chora clásica de las Cícladas, con casas de piedra blanca y buganvillas, situada a 250 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
Situado en una pendiente debajo del pintoresco pueblo de Tripiti, el Teatro Antiguo es un teatro de mármol al aire libre bien conservado, a pesar de haber estado ligeramente arruinado a lo largo de los años desde que se construyó por primera vez durante el período helenístico. Ofrece una vista fantástica, ya que junto con el teatro y las catacumbas históricas cercanas, también se ofrecen fantásticas vistas hacia el mar Egeo y el puerto del pueblo de Klima.

We got to see the most incredible views of Milos! Kostas was the greatest tour guide! He showed us the hidden treasures and took great care of us. Comfortable air conditioned van, a small amount of walking, customized for our group.
There’s a lot of walking, but the history is great. Sarakiniko Beach is incredible to see. Our driver was very friendly and knew so much about Milos.
Kostas was an amazing guide. He was accommodating of everyone, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about showing us all Milos has to offer. He was easy to talk to and it felt like we were good friends by the end of the tour. He went above and beyond by arranging transportation for me to have a special birthday dinner in Plaka that evening, and suggested both a restaurant and foods to try.

West of the Cyclades, apart from the tourist hordes that invade its neighbors, this is Milos. Apart from the geological curiosity of the beach and the cliffs of Sarakiniko, not much to see on this peeled island, fried by the sun and battered by the winds. Ah, yes, of course, this is where French archaeologists found and reunited the two pieces of the famous Venus that sits in the Louvre... Other than that? Well nothing, except the unique charm of small villages like Adamandas or Plaka where white and blue reign, where sipping an ouzo or a Greek coffee under a dais of red bougainvillea contemplating the Mediterranean is an innefable pleasure. Time suddenly stops... To visit in autumn to avoid a merciless sun. The sea is still warm and its waters are still crystal clear. Regular sea and air connections.
