George was a fantastic guide. He tailored the day to things we wanted to see and was a wealth of knowledge on the sights we visited and all things Scotland. We truly enjoyed the sights and the beauty of ghe highlands but George really made it special

She was so knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful, making sure the timing was perfect at every stop. And she’s a true local, so her information had depth and authenticity. Terrific day tour of Inverness environs. Our guide was very knowledgeable and hit all of the highlights. Culloden, cairns, Cawdor Castle, Urhquart castle, Loch Ness, two distilleries and took us to his favorite viewpoints.

We had a WONDERFUl tour with George from Go Highlands! He picked us up (and dropped us off) at our hotel and was an amazing guide through the Highlands. It was incredible to have a true local as our guide to give us unique insights, stories, and information about the places we went. We saw Clava Cairns, Culloden, Urquhart Castle, Great Glen Gin Distillery, COOS!, and more. We will definitely book with George again when we come back. This is a day you don't want to miss, the private tour was absolutely way to go.
From the initial conversations with Alastair discussing our bespoke tour, I felt I had chosen the right company. Due to some issues with our rental car, we had to make some last minute changes to our pick up and schedule, and Alastair was very communicative and accommodating. His van was clean and comfortable. We were travelling with 3 generations (21 to 85) and he went out of his way to make sure everyone got the most out of the experience. He was very helpful with my father who has some mobility issues. Alastair is an excellent tour guide. His personal experiences, attentiveness and historical knowledge added so much to our experience. We spent a full day travelling to Beauly, Dog Falls in Glen Affric, Loch Ness with Urquhart Castle, Culloden Battlefield and the Clava Cairns. We could have driven ourselves but we would not have gotten as much from the tour without Alastair. He went out of his way to provide a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I would highly recommend Alastair and Go Highlands tours!
All the destinations along the trip are amazing so that much is a given, but it’s the quality and knowledgeability of the host that makes all the difference. George is an absolutely marvellous guide and I can not recommend him & his tours highly enough.
