Great trip on the Forth. We saw Inchcolm Priory during the trip.
Great experience on this sightseeing cruise. I highly recommend including the stop to explore Inchcolm Abbey and the island—it was a highlight. The length of the cruise feels just right, and the crew were welcoming, organized, and helpful throughout. Be aware that the boat fills quickly during the summer months, so it is worth arriving about 30 minutes early to secure your place in line. The experience suits a wide range of travelers, including families, couples, solo visitors, and groups. The only downside on our trip was a summer camp group of rather loud and energetic teenagers. It would have helped if the chaperones had been more attentive.
I’m from Taiwan, and I am happy that I spent time on this tour. I really enjoy the sea and nature. Thank you
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're delighted you chose to join us during your visit from Taiwan and that you enjoyed spending time on the sea surrounded by nature. We hope your cruise on the Firth of Forth was a memorable part of your trip to Scotland, and we'd love to welcome you back on board if you're ever visiting again. Safe travels.
While the boat trip itself was fine, the experience was overshadowed by my partner's slipping and falling on the wet and "slimy" concrete approach to the vessel. The walkway was very slippery; all are fortunate that there were no additional falls. As the boat was pulling away, a worker was power washing the ramp; this should have been done before folks tried to walk down the ramp.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your partner slipped on the approach to the boat. The pier is a public facility owned and maintained by the local council, who are responsible for its cleaning and upkeep. While we don't have control over the maintenance of the pier itself, we regularly assess the boarding area and report any concerns to the council so they can be addressed. During periods of low tide, it is possible for natural algae to make parts of the pier more slippery underfoot. On these occasions, we advise passengers before boarding that the surface may be slippery and ask everyone to take extra care. We appreciate you highlighting your concerns and will continue to work with the council to ensure the boarding area remains as safe as possible. if you would like to contact us directly on info@maidoftheforth.co.uk, we would be more than happy to discuss this further.

Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so pleased you had an amazing experience. We do have to ask though... where did you find the fourth bridge?. We'd love to add it to the tour! 😄 We hope to welcome you back soon to visit all three of them again.
The tour is amazing and so informative, but I wanted to say a special mention to the staff, very friendly and helpful, family run businesses are few these days and should be supported whenever we can. 10 out 10 to the lads today, 5th July!
