!!AVOID ITS A SCAM!! We booked this experience as we loved the idea of star gazing. The evening before AND DAY OF they decided to change our time of pickup that was already agreed via this app with pickup location included may I as.. to a time that meant we would arrive back at our hotel before sunset. How can you go stargazing at mid day! MAD LIKE? We lost our money as we didn’t end up going due to them wanting to pick us up 3/4 hrs EARLY to then wait up to 2 hours for others to arrive. We made a booking for a certain time. We were busy in the morning and early afternoon! And they was very rude about this. We should’ve been protected under the consumer rights act.. however we wasn’t!! We have lost £80! Because they wouldn’t owe up to their time mess up and not giving us a refund due to their mistake. They were also extremely rude over text about it even when we asked valid questions in regards to our trip.
We did not ultimately carry out this experiment. As soon as we picked up, the driver was very unpleasant, even disrespectful. Arriving at the place of the activity, the atmosphere did not inspire us confidence, the welcome was harsh with injections, no smiles and no politeness. The sound level of the music, was unbearable, both in the mini valve and in the place of the activity. We preferred to leave, rather than enjoy our quad bike ride, and dinner/show. The place, is not a desert but rather a sandy roadside, in the middle of waste. The camel ride, which was carried out by people in our group at most 10 min with animals that look bad.
A lot of fun with quads and camels. Forever memories shared with dad
I bought online the quad bike tour, camel ride, Bedouin dinner and view of the starry sky. On the day of the hike we got in touch via whats-app, and surprise!! Our Tuor has resized to the quad bike ride!!! Obviously we pointed that out, and the answer... "prices have changed, the ones you were currently seeing on their website were in promotion" Moral: we did the quad bike ride paid almost double and we saw the stars at the hotel!
It was my favourite tour so far . Picked up on time, not too far a drive. The quads and camel ride were excellent followed by a lovely dinner and entertainment. And star gazing. Would recommend.
Where do I start? Our day out with these guys was brilliant in every aspect. The quad safari was great fun, I’m not a huge fan of motorsports and even I thoroughly enjoyed it 👌 we then returned to the village for some food and star gazing. Everyone within the village was really friendly and welcoming, we made some great friends and had a good laugh. The camel ride was great too, can’t fault these guys one bit. I highly recommend booking with these guys if you’re looking to experience some local Egyptian culture and have some fun. We will be back in future 100% until then thanks again guys 👍
So this excursion is amazing. 2 hours quad biking, a gorgeous dinner, show and star gazing and no pressure to buy photos/videos, we did but we wasn't pressured. Quad bikes being used for their purpose none of this 10mph behind each other, it's a thrill and the guides are amazing. If your not confident they split you into 2 groups. I was happy bumbling along whereas by mates were happy with the faster pace. Unfortunately their communication before hand is awful. Unbeknown to me we were staying in "Al hayaa" Hurghada, so on the day of pick up I recieved a message saying I hadn't paid for transfers, I text back and called, our hotel even called them to see where the mix up had been, as the advert states pick up included Hurghada. Long story short after lots of too and froing I paid the extra. So BEWARE where your actually staying if transfers are included. We were contacted about this after the 24 hour window which wasn't helpful. When we were contacted we were met with a very rude woman. Don't let this put you off though because the excursion is fabulous and I will do it again but possibly not with this company. I'm unsure why they don't just add transfers onto the excursion cost because we wasn't the only ones that had been through this then it would stop all the confusion and it's worth every penny. The views are spectacular.
Wow wow wow out of this world this was the 1st time for me and I loved every moment I doubled up with my husband as I got scared lol (I drive at home so only fair I let him drive the quad) food was amazing star gazing in as through a telescope but was nice to see the different stars and plants and the guide knew her stuff
I was excited about this tour but left feeling ripped off We booked for my family of 5 to go We arrived and we were first asked to purchase head scarves, which we were told were compulsory. I had to spend a further 20 euros on 5 scarves. Nowhere in the booking details does it mention this Two minutes later we were then approached and told we had to purchase safety goggles and couldn't go quad biking without them unless we had sunglasses. Again no mention of this in the booking details. I had to purchase x 3 goggles. I manage to haggle on the price We left for the quad biking and it was lots of fun. However 30 minutes into it we stop by some water for a break. At this point, we are then offered a drink which we have to pay for. Again nowhere when booking was this mentioned. It says soft drinks are provided. We got back on the quad bikes and as soon as we got back, the first thing we were asked for was a tip from the lead driver There was one water refill station available for 30/40 people and we were given x 1 soft drink at dinner time The evening entertainment and food were good and the lady who led the star gazing was very knowledgeable. Sdaly very few stars because of the weather. On leaving the stargazing we came back to our starting point to find that our taxi had left without us. We had to wait 30 minutes for it to return. We were given complimentary drinks I was looking forward to this trip but felt I was being ripped off from the beginning which put me off If they include these details and be a bit more honest, this tour could be very good.
Great quad safari with competent guides! The quads are in very good condition, even the camels are very well maintained! German and English speaking staff! The sunset was bombastic! Always here!
