Great food tour with lots of variety. Catered well for one of our party who has nut allergy. Lots of history explained along the way
Really enjoyed this food tour and had the absolute best food so far during my trip in Vietnam. I went on this tour with my husband and ended up on a private tour as no one else had signed up that night. Our guide was Han, and we enjoyed spending the evening with him. I appreciated that he reached out the day before the tour to check on our food preferences and confirm the pick up time. We had four stops, each with a lot of food or pretty large portions. The places were all a little far apart and as a result we ended up getting a city sightseeing tour on the side. Riding the cyclos in traffic was fun but also a little scary since you’re riding along in traffic with cars and mopeds (and lots of car fumes). My cyclo guy was so nice and would point things out to me as we road. We liked the first restaurant we went to so much that we went back again the next day!
This is my family’s first time in Hue and we had a great time on this tour. Cyclo is a perfect way to explore the city with little children. We started a bit earlier since there is only my family on this tour and we started right before sunset. Khanh was our tour guide and she is amazing, as well as the cyclo drivers. They took us around and are so friendly and helpful with the children. It is a great combination between sightseeing, food and seeing Hue at night. The pacing of the food tour is great so I didn’t feel so full even we had several dishes. Highly recomended!
The tour was great - highly recommend if! It was a great way to try out many different things that we probably wouldn’t have otherwise, learn more about history of those dishes and see Hue from a new perspective from a cyclo. Our guide Tram was exceptional - she had such a wide knowledge of Vietnamese history and culture - we learnt a lot from her. On top of that, she is very friendly which made this a 5star experience.
Food was really really nice . Linh was awesome! She was also able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and went out her way to get me great replacements
We had a very lovely food tour led by Minh! We toured the city at night by cyclos, and sampled some very delicious local foods at several stops! Minh gave us very detailed explanations of the histories of the foods, the preparation and how to eat them, and even explained some of the history and culture of the city and local dialect to us! Overall a wonderful culinary tour, thanks to Mr Minh and our cyclo drivers! Would whole heartedly recommend this tour to everyone!
Mint was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history of each dish. The meal selection was comprehensive and tasty. He was also very considerate and took the initiative to take pictures for us. The rickshaw was a great way to see the city and experience the local traffic first hand. Thank you for a good time.
We nipped around Hue in cyclos on our night street food tour while our guide Mr Minh followed us on his scooter, visiting several carefully selected street restaurants. Each provided a new and tasty gastronomic experience as we were introduced to Hue specialties. Mr Minh spoke excellent English and amused us with us choice of idioms - we taught his several more. Besides gastronomy, he generously shared his views on Vietnam’s culture and regional differences. Recommended.
sang is a great guide. he was very kind and thoughtful, having lots ok knowledge in history, economics abd politics. getting around by cyclo was resfeshing.
What a great experience! Unfortunately, we had very little time in Hue and could see the whole city through the Cyclo Tour. The food was delicious and authentic, the guide told us lots of exciting things to eat and Vietnam and riding the Cyclos was really fun. Anytime again, highly recommended.
