We had a very good experience on this tour. Our pilot, and his copilot trainee, were very friendly and helpful and made us all comfortable. We benefitted from great weather so the views from the air were phenomenal and ride wasn't too bumpy, a plus for me. Highlights for us were the plane ride and Antelope Canyon. Beautiful beyond belief with friendly pilots and a great guide for the Antelope Canyon tour.
My fiancé and I had a great time with this experience! For the most part, which I will get into monetarily. The first plane ride was beautiful and absolutely stunning! We also really loved the bus tour to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. All the guides were so friendly and helpful. We both agreed the trip was well worth the money and we had a blast. My only complaint has nothing to do with the company or the tours, but it’s more of a word of caution. If you get motion sickness, you may not be the best candidate for the plane ride. On the way up, it was colder temp (42°F or so) and there were not really any winds, so we had a smooth ride. However, on the ride back to the meetup spot, it had gotten significantly warmer to about 62°F and it was very windy. Let me tell you, this does not make for a smooth ride! This is no fault of the pilot or the company, it’s simply just how flying works. I did throw up on the way back and there was a ton of shaking in the plane. I still would recommend this experience but maybe take a Dramamine or something if you can.
The Lower antelope valley canyon tour is a fantastic place but not too kid friendly or for people with any ambulatory issues.
instructions for items allowed on the plane contradicted what was listed on the website. The website was overly restrictive and made it more difficult to plan.
This was an incredible day. The plane ride over the canyon as the sun was rising was an incredible experience. Being able to just show up and go and this company taking care of getting us to horseshoe bend and antelope canyon was great. We just got to kick back and enjoy the day. Lunch options were turkey sandwich or veggie wrap. Water provided all day too. Would recommend someone wanting to get aerial of the canyon and not have to drive to horseshoe and antelope from south rim.
really bad. No recommendation. Worst Company ever. No to a tour with Viator! Papillion is much better!
Great tour! Loved seeing the GC from above. Quite windy which left a few travellers green-faced. Antelope Canyon was just incredible!! Professional pilots, great tour guides and a thoroughly enjoyable trip.Audio and music played on headphones in the plane. A small plane, noisy and smelled of fuel as we were right at the back. Wouldn’t suit anyone prone to travel sickness
Thank you for sharing your thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon Adventure, and that both the aerial views and Antelope Canyon left you with such brilliant memories. It’s great to know our pilots and guides helped make the day so enjoyable. We also appreciate your feedback about the small plane experience, as this can be helpful for future travelers to know. We’re grateful for your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!
Excellent. Plane ride over the Grand Canyon was incredible. The tour to Antelope and Horseshoe Bend was gorgeous. All was well-run and no hassle
Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re so glad to hear you had an incredible experience on the Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon Adventure. From the breathtaking flight over the Grand Canyon to the stunning sights in Page, it’s wonderful to know everything ran smoothly and exceeded your expectations. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!
Absolutely amazing trip! Easy to book although we did the re-confirming via email rather than phone as we had no mobile number, which wasn’t a problem. The checkin was simple and onto the plane. The pilots were professional and gave good info about the upcoming flight. It was a small plane, seating 22 although there were only 12 on our flight so everyone got a window seat. I don’t recommend if you are prone to air sickness. The flight was very bumpy due to wind at times and there were a few green faces by the end. However we loved it! Great music and commentary to listen to while savouring the amazing views from the large windows. After arriving in Page we were met and transported by comfortable air conditioned mini bus to Antlope canyon. Prepare to be visually here! It’s incredible! Then onto Horseshoe Bend for a walk down to the view before a short drive back to the airport, a tasty boxed lunch and a flight back to GC airport. I would highly recommend this trip. I believe its value for money, professional and timeliness is good! 5/5
Thank you so much for your detailed and glowing review! We’re thrilled to hear the Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon Adventure was a highlight of your West Coast holiday. It’s wonderful to know the booking and check-in process was smooth, and that you felt well taken care of by our pilots and staff throughout the journey. We appreciate your note about the wind — occasional bumps can happen, but we’re glad it didn’t take away from the incredible experience and views. From the stunning aerial sights to the awe-inspiring beauty of Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, we’re so happy you enjoyed every part of the day. Thank you for your recommendation and 5/5 rating — we hope to welcome you aboard again on your next adventure!
I could not recommend this company and trip highly enough!!! If there was a 10 star option, I’d choose it. My wife and kids and I booked a day trip from the Grand Canyon South Rim location that took us to Page, AZ for a tour of Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Canyon. The plan was for a return flight from Page back to South Rim with scenic views of the Grand Canyon on both legs of the trip. Unfortunately, there was a private aircraft accident on the runway in Page causing a closure of the runway for several hours. GCSA was not willing to accept this delay for our group. They instead sent a helicopter to pick us up since our plane could not land in Page. We got an unexpected treat of a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon on our way back to South Rim. This company did not have to do this and could easily have made us wait in Page for the runway to reopen. Everyone involved in our situation went above and beyond to see us safely and timely back to South Rim. From the desk and office staff to the pilots and runway staff, everyone was amazingly, nice, friendly, helpful, and courteous. I would definitely recommend this airline or partner helicopter service Papillon for any Grand Canyon trips, and we will absolutely be returning customers at our next visit!!! Thank you GSCA and your partner Papillon for making our trip truly memorable!!!
Thank you so much for your heartfelt and enthusiastic review! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that your experience was so memorable — even in the face of unexpected challenges. Safety and guest satisfaction are our top priorities, and we're so glad our team was able to respond quickly and turn an unforeseen situation into a truly unforgettable adventure. It’s wonderful to know that everyone from our staff to the pilots and partners at Papillon helped make your day special. We’re grateful for your kind words and recommendation, and we can’t wait to welcome you and your family back for another incredible Grand Canyon experience!
