The ride was incredibly scenic and picturesque. Our tour guide Jordan had a lot of knowledge both about the horses and every area that we rode through. Unfortunately, I fainted towards the end of the ride. (it's in part due to heat as well as a condition I have). I was super embarrassed, but everyone was so helpful and kind towards me. They quickly made sure that everything was okay and drove me back when it was clear that health wise I could not continue. Be careful booking when it's so hot out in the middle of the day if you are like me and faint easily, but that goes for any experience, this is not specific to this tour at all. I would absolutely recommend this tour to others. Both, for the kind and attentive staff as well as the beautiful scenery.
We had such an amazing time on our horseback riding tour! Our guide Yordan was very knowledgeable about the area and shared so much information while we rode along the beaches. He also cared to check in on all of us and on the horses when he noticed one of them was not feeling well. I appreciate seeing all the locals in the area also caring for the horses and for us in cases we needed and help! Lovely scenery all around and a peaceful experience, absolutely loved it and would do it again!
Literally the best experience ever. Helmets provided but optional. Fine for beginners but great for someone a little more experienced. Got to trot, gallop, or canter based on riders want. Private beach area with great pictures from staff and also went through some woodsy areas.

The pickup was late, the guide didn't speak much English, and when he did speak he was very low energy, and the tour was mediocre.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn other families about this tour. If you are not a professional horseback rider, do not book this excursion. Our experience was plagued by a complete lack of safety standards and staff negligence: No Safety Gear: No helmets were offered or provided. Ignored Requests: My daughter explicitly stated she did not want a fast horse, yet they gave her one anyway. Extremely Distracted Guides: The guides spent the ride on their phones FaceTiming people, completely ignoring the horses and the guests. Because of their sheer lack of attention, my daughter almost fell off her horse, barely escaping what could have been a severe, life-altering injury. This company showed zero regard for our safety. Please look elsewhere for a reputable tour.

We went on the horseback ride with Jordan. It was amazing, the ride was beautiful, went to Conchal beach and then along the beach and through some trails in a wooded area. Jordan tool the time to stop and at an amazing beach spot to take photos with each person's camera, he took some great shots. He also checked on all of us frequently to make sure we were comfortable on the horses and to explain various flora and fauna along the way. It was pouring rain but that did not matter in the least, actually made the ride more fun. Pick up and drop off from our hotel in Tamarindo was so easy as well. I would highly recommend this tour.

Let me start with the guide, Jordan, not being the problem. Jordan did his job pretty well. My complaint is about the horses. They all looked under fed (saw their rib cages) and their upkeep was horrible because you could see they had been neglected. My horse, Captain, was covered in ticks and the ticks were large filled with blood; so you knew they had been on him for a while. Also, I showed Jordan that on, Captain, that the saddle was covering blood and sores because I could see it. Something has to be done about this! There is absolutely no excuse for the care of the horses to be in this horrible shape!! Please make a vital change before it is too late!!
