Su recorrido comienza en la ciudad más grande de Nueva Zelanda. A medida que salimos de la ciudad, su guía no solo preparará el escenario para su aventura de hoy, sino que también lo señalará y lo guiará a través de algunos de los aspectos más destacados de la ciudad.
Saliendo de Auckland viajamos hacia el sur a través de la impresionante campiña de Waikato, la zona agrícola más extensa del mundo, encontrando hermosos paisajes, ríos caudalosos, excelentes oportunidades para tomar fotografías, montañas impresionantes y una variedad de animales de granja en el camino.
Al llegar a la primera atracción ‘Hobbiton’, abordará uno de los grandes autobuses verdes de Hobbiton y partirá en una visita completamente guiada de dos horas y media de este increíble set de películas de 12 acres, con un guía profesional de Hobbiton para garantizar que obtenga el máximo provecho de su visita. Durante su recorrido, entre en los exuberantes pastos de la Comarca, visite 44 hoyos de los hobbits, vea increíbles jardines, escuche los secretos e historias sobre la realización de películas y disfrute de una bebida fría de cortesía en el famoso pub Hobbiton 'The Green Dragon Inn'.
Partiendo hacia Rotorua pasamos por Tirau en nuestra aventura. Apodada la 'Capital mundial del hierro corrugado' debido a las numerosas esculturas y edificios únicos de hierro corrugado, esta ciudad nunca deja de echar un vistazo y reírse y nuestros guías señalarán todos los aspectos más destacados en el camino.
Al llegar a nuestro segundo destino, Te Puia, recibirá una visita totalmente guiada para experimentar mejor las maravillas culturales geotérmicas y maoríes, incluyendo: Géiser Pōhutu, Arquitectura Maorí, La Escuela Nacional de Artes Maoríes, cráteres geotérmicos, eventos geotérmicos e incluso la oportunidad de ver un pájaro kiwi en la casa de observación kiwi.
Para finalizar nuestra experiencia en Rotorua, realizamos una visita guiada en automóvil para ver los sitios más famosos de la ciudad de Rotorua, incluidos: el lago Rotorua, el Museo de Rotorua, los jardines gubernamentales, Whangapipiro (Rachel Spring) y los baños azules. Si hay tiempo, incluso podemos visitar una tienda de recuerdos especial para comprar con descuento y probar la miel de Manuka.

It was a great day from start to end. Our driver and guide Vicki was exceptional ! She kept us entertained all along the trip ( LoR movie on the way back was the perfect way to end this memorable day). She provided us with lots of information and made our experience so much more enjoyable. PS : Having watched only the first LoR movie, I was afraid that I wouldn’t enjoy Hobbiton, but it ended up being the highlight of the day. The tour in Te Puia and seeing Kiwis and a Geyser for the first time was nice as well. A big Thank You to Vicki once again. The experience is 100% worth it and would definitely recommend.

It was a packed day that started early in the morning but our guide Jeoff brought kind positivity, was extremely organised and taught us more about New Zealand’s rich and varied culture along the way. Hobbiton was beautiful. Then we got lucky and spotted kiwi birds AND geysers at Te Puia. I would recommend this trip especially if you have limited time and want to see as much as possible in one day!
John is a brilliant tour guide/driver. A lot of fun, informative, kept the group energy up from 5.45 till the drop-off. I had a thought to drop off at Rotorua for the Māori show if there were tickets. He went out of his way to check a hotel room where they normally stay. He called the office to check if I could be picked up the next day. All was set but the evenin experience ticket I had seen was gone. But I appreciated the effort and desire to help me experience the Māori evening. Def recommended and will do more with them.

It was the best! The drive there was smooth and our driver Trent made sure to keep us all comfortable with some snacks and water along the way. He also made sure to inform us of the time, where to meet, and what to do to make sure the entire trip would go without a hitch. Hobbiton was the best and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want more time we would suggest getting a somewhat private tour to really get into the world of the Hobbits and enjoy it freely. All the admission fees were already included in the package though, so we can’t complain. One thing we would have wished for Te Puia would have been to experience the cultural presentation and see the Haka. Unfortunately the tour only included the first package. We suggest upgrading even just to the higher package next to it to avail of the cultural performance which we think will tie up the whole experience and make it better. Aside from that, the tour was amazing. Worth enjoying a full day of driving, seeing the sights, and learning more about New Zealand.
Well planned and comfortable vehicle
This was a fun and informative tour. Simon our driver/guide provided information about New Zealand and what we would see along the drive. Hobbiton was amazing, it boosted the memories of LOR movies - so much that we have started to re-watch. Te Puia cultural park was informative about Māori cultural plus there’s a huge geyser and we saw 2 kiwi birds. Long by great day!

Hobbiton Tour Such a magical experience! Hobbiton is absolutely beautiful and feels just like stepping into the movie. Te Puia An amazing cultural and geothermal experience. Our tour guide, Alessandro, provided us with umbrellas, snacks & water and was friendly & knowledgeable of the areas visited. He also made sure we were comfortable and happy at all times. Although our day was very long, we would highly recommend this trip to any first-time visitors to Auckland as we learnt so much.
