Comenzamos aquí con una introducción sobre la historia de Brujas y el papel que desempeñó la ciudad como centro comercial en la época medieval. También profundizamos en la relación problemática entre la ciudad de Brujas y el rey francés.
Visitamos los pasillos detrás del campanario y le explicamos el importante papel que desempeñó la torre durante la Edad Media.
Este palacio de la ciudad recientemente renovado pertenecía a una familia acomodada en Brujas, que tenía el monopolio de una parte específica del comercio de la cerveza. Nuestro guía le contará todo al respecto.
Nos detenemos en el magnífico hospital de St. John, uno de los hospitales más antiguos del mundo y uno de los pilares de la sociedad medieval.
Te llevaremos a dar un paseo por el pintoresco beguinaje, el más grande de su tipo en el mundo, donde una comunidad de mujeres ha vivido juntas durante más de 800 años.
Nos detenemos frente a la fábrica de cerveza para contarte la historia de cómo la gente de Brujas recibió el apodo de "Locos de Brujas" y para mostrarte un pedazo de la tubería de cerveza que fluye debajo de nuestra ciudad.
Junto al lago del amor, te contamos la historia de por qué tenemos cisnes en los canales de Brujas y cómo la ciudad entró en conflicto con el emperador Maximiliano de Austria.
Te contaremos la historia de esta iglesia icónica, que es la segunda torre de ladrillo más alta del mundo y alberga una estatua de Miguel Ángel, así como las tumbas de los últimos duques de Borgoña.
Nos aventuramos en el jardín del Museo Groeninge, donde se exhiben algunas de las obras de los más grandes maestros flamencos.
Te llevamos a la antigua plaza de Tanner, donde el maloliente negocio consistía en engrasar las pieles y convertirlas en cuero.

We did the guided tour with Loui, such a lovely person! He knows so much about Bruges, and you can really feel the love he has for his city. We did quite a bit of research before choosing a tour because, for us, it’s important to discover a city through real facts and history, without too many exaggerated or made-up stories. And Loui was exactly what we were looking for. Every piece of information he shared was fascinating, the dates, the facts, the route… everything made the tour really interesting and gave us a much better understanding of Bruges. And Loui himself is an absolute a wonderful person. ❤️ Thank you so much for your time and for sharing your city with us. We truly enjoyed it!

This is the perfect tour if you want to hit the ground running, and you only have say 3 to 6 hours hours in Bruges. We had a fantastic, passionate and very knowledgeable guide. Didn't feel rushed and the 2 hours flew by.
The guide we had was born in Bruges and has lived and taught there his whole life. He is a history teacher, so who better to get a history tour from? He also gave us the current day issues that Bruges faces. It was wonderful to hear from a local who is so passionate about the history and current day status of their hometown. His personal anecdotes about skating on the river as a child made the tour so amazing. I couldn't imagine a better tour!
Our guide Nathalie was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and funny, but her very narrow British accent made us not understand many expressions and words, but, by the way, it was great
