Siendo isleño toda mi vida, con mi familia que tiene raíces profundas aquí, no solo aprenderá sobre la historia y la geografía de Charlottetown y la isla mientras caminamos por las calles históricas, sino que también escuchará muchas anécdotas personales. Algunos de estos serán sobre la historia de la familia Kelly, mientras que otros serán más personales. Ya sea que sea de aquí o de otro lugar, creo que se irá con una apreciación más profunda del lugar al que llamo hogar.

Escuche sobre este edificio histórico muy importante que desempeñó un papel en la formación de Canadá como nación. Actualmente en proceso de renovación, pero con suerte estará abierto al público nuevamente para el verano de 2023.

Este histórico ayuntamiento ha estado en uso desde 1888.
Camina por este hermoso espacio verde de camino a la Capilla de Todos los Santos
Visite la inspiradora "Capilla de Todos los Santos" que se adjunta a la Iglesia. Esta es una vista histórica nacional. Escuche cómo los hermanos Harris jugaron un papel decisivo en el diseño y el interior de esta capilla.
En la entrada al parque visitaremos la Casa del Gobernador, hogar del Teniente General del PEI. Haremos una parada en el paseo marítimo para escuchar la historia del puerto de Charlottetown.
Terminaremos el recorrido donde comenzamos. En nuestro camino entre el parque Victoria y nuestro destino final, tomaremos un breve descanso en Pownal Square y les contaré sobre mis 15 minutos de fama.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Charlottetown. Our guide Jamie was outstanding. He is a life long resident and enjoys sharing his hometown with visitors. Jamie made the tour both fun and informative. Being the only ones on the tour he tailored it to us and we were able to ask many questions.

Jamie is an excellent tour escort with a great depth of knowledge. As a well-spoken, educated local going back several generations, he shared his depth of information, insight and understanding. The tour of the central historic district was well paced and easy to manage. Having asked what our lans were for the balance of our 6 day stay, he put his information into context with references to what we would see the following day when we went on a drive tour outside of Charlottetown. This made the two tours/days super-interesting. I completely recommend this tour and Jamie to others for an outstanding insight into historic Charlottetown.

Very interesting walking tour of the city of Charlottetown, discovering its various historical monuments. The tour lasts about 2 hours. The guide passionately shares historical facts and anecdotes about the city. Nevertheless, it is a shame not to have the time to visit the churches or historical houses when they are accessible to the public. An excellent way to discover Charlottetown. I recommend it without hesitation!
