Este recorrido cubre los lugares más populares del Viejo San Juan durante la hora dorada. En este momento, disfrutará de hermosas fotografías de la hermosa arquitectura histórica del casco antiguo. La caminata termina temprano en la noche cerca de restaurantes, bares y tiendas de souvenirs. En el camino, aprenderá sobre la historia del casco antiguo y la cultura puertorriqueña. El recorrido es conducido por guías locales profesionales certificados por la Compañía de Turismo de Puerto Rico. La puesta de sol y la agradable temperatura a esta hora del día hacen que la caminata sea memorable y tranquila.

Esta plaza es el lugar perfecto para aprender sobre la historia colonial de Puerto Rico. Algunas de las preguntas que se responderán son: ¿por qué Puerto Rico era tan importante para España? ¿Cómo se convirtió Puerto Rico en territorio de los EE. UU. Y cómo se sienten los lugareños al respecto ahora? Veremos el Monumento a Colón, el Teatro Tapia y la placa del kilómetro cero.
Los viajeros verán las áreas residenciales y comerciales de San Juan con una arquitectura única que no ha cambiado mucho en los últimos tres siglos. Veremos el hermoso edificio de la escuela Baldority de Castro y aprenderemos sobre la historia de la plaza.
En la plaza principal de San Juan veremos la fachada del Ayuntamiento y el Palacio de la Real Intendencia junto con la famosa fuente de las estaciones y la estatua del legendario compositor de música Tite Curret Alonso.
Este es uno de los edificios históricos más espectaculares del Viejo San Juan. Originalmente fue construido para albergar el tesoro de la isla y ahora es el Departamento de Estado de Puerto Rico. En su interior, veremos el patio maravillosamente conservado y la bóveda original del tesoro.
Aquí veremos la capilla más popular de Puerto Rico y aprenderá la leyenda urbana detrás de esta pequeña estructura construida en el siglo XVIII. En el camino se pueden ver excelentes vistas de la isla principal de Puerto Rico.
Aquí los viajeros podrán visitar uno de los sitios del Patrimonio Mundial de Puerto Rico, la Mansión del Gobernador. Este edificio es famoso por albergar a los más altos líderes del gobierno de la isla desde el siglo XVI. También ha sido visitado por presidentes de los Estados Unidos y reyes de España.
Los viajeros tendrán la oportunidad de visitar el interior de la segunda iglesia más antigua de Estados Unidos. En su interior, veremos la tumba de Juan Ponce de León y la estructura más antigua de la catedral del siglo XVI.
Los viajeros verán el patio interior más grande de la isla en uno de los edificios más imponentes del Viejo San Juan. Construido para los cuarteles de las tropas españolas, este edificio fue una instalación militar durante más de un siglo. Ahora alberga los restaurantes, una cafetería y un museo.
Aquí los viajeros verán el sitio histórico más valioso de Puerto Rico. Esta fortificación protegió la entrada a la bahía de San Juan desde el siglo XVI y es el sitio histórico más visitado de la isla.

This tour was awesome. Roberto was very knowledgeable and could recite fact after fact at each spot that he brought us to. It was a beautiful night and the history was very interesting!
Be prepared for a long walk on cobblestone and narrow sidewalks. Bring your water and enjoy the scenes.Roberto was very knowledgeable and funny.
Realized this tour was not in Costa Rica but in Puerto Rico. Ironically the meeting point existed in both places. Contacted Viator and Operator immediately thru the app to ask for a XC and credit and didn't get anything. Also texted tour guide directly and didn't hear back. Booked it same day, so they wouldn't accept my cancellation. I have told Viator their search tool needs to split out City/Place with Country to avoid mistakes like this. The filter is too limited. I have used Viator a lot but will now look to book city tours, etc. with other companies. Tour operator said I could use the tour at a future date but I have no plans to visit Puerto Rico so that's really not helpful.
Unfortunately my flight was delayed by several hours and I wasn’t able to make it. I did try to contact them directly and through Viator in the morning to try to reschedule for the same tour the next day but have received no response. I understand it is non-refundable, but things happen outside of anyone’s control and it would be nice to offer some flexibility in this circumstance.
It was good walking tour with a passionate and knowledgable guide, but I knocked off a star because (1) it was too many people, I think a smaller group would have been better (2) between the weak mic and the guide's heavy accent, it was hard to hear and understand him most of the time. Also it could probably have been 30-45 minutes shorter.
It was great learning about the history and culture of San Juan. I think there could have been a few more sites to see. But overall enjoyed our tour guide and what we learned.
Roberto was amazing! A really personable guide, with a sense of humor and so full of stories! One skill that was much appreciated was flexibility with the weather. It was cloudy, but then the sky cleared a little so we could at lease see some sunset color with Morro in the background. Then, it started raining. We took shelter for a few minutes but then Roberto told the sky to stop raining — and miraculously/coincidentally, it pretty much stopped raining and so we continued with our tour. Highly recommend this tour for getting the lay of the land.

Spent too much time doing nothing...did not give good history...missed so many areas...wasted so much time...I was embarrassed as I promised a great experience like the one I had last year...we left the tour...I couldn't take it any longer
This sunset walking tour was a good way to get acquainted with Old San Juan. The views were beautiful, and the history and stories shared throughout the tour made the city interesting. Our guide was incredibly informative and provided a unique perspective of San Juan. It was a fairly easy walk (with the right shoes). A perfect mix of history, culture, and unforgettable scenery!
