Dave was extremely informative and enthusiastically proud of the Asheville music scene. He seemed to have an encyclopedic understanding of the back stories behind musical artists from a wide variety of genres. Overall, we were quite impressed with the experience.
Super knowledgeable and friendly guide, Dave, did a great job not just talking about the music history of Asheville but other information about the city that helped form a great backdrop for the tour!
For the music and history buffs out there, this tour is for you. Our guide David knows more about local Asheville history and its music history than anyone I know. David guides you through the town and in the two hour tour, regales you with tons of little known details and information about music history in Asheville, as well as some local historical info too. David is a wealth of knowledge and leads a great tour inspired by his love of Asheville and music.
David is incredible. He knows so much about the Asheville music scene and history. He’s very personable and knowledgeable. It was an incredible tour.
Walked around several notable buildings with musically historical background within downtown Ashville. David told stories and was very knowledgeable. He tried to relate to the artists so that we could understand the connection better. Reached out prior so I could ask questions. Highly recommend!
We had a great time. Very informative. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and knew his music history. We had an enjoyable time.
Very enjoyable, educational tour. Our guide had extensive and amazing knowledge of Asheville’s music and cultural history as well as current hot venues for listening.
Dave was wealth of information regarding Asheville’s ties to famous musicians and those in the music industry. If you love music, this is your tour.
This was an excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged the entire time. We learned a great deal about the city (past and present), the venues, and the entertainment that has visited or resided in its boundaries and surrounding areas. If you are interested in seeing vinyls made, be sure to go Mon-Fri. I don't think this was mentioned in the advertisement. We went on a Saturday and were disappointed that this option was not available; however, tour was still worth it, even without this expectation being met.
David was a wealth of information about the musicians, influences, and history of Asheville. We learned so much on our tour!
