I had a really good time with Zvaid. The sanatoriums were really awesome to see. It definitely was the highlight of my trip. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely do this tour again.
Ropeways and views in Chiatura are very nice. The town still has a Soviet feel while Tskaltubo is a special place as well with awesome abandoned buildings. I saw many of them and they are in very poor condition although very interesting. Thank you
Tskaltubo is a very interesting town with abandoned so called sanatoriums. This is an ideal place for people enjoying decayed buildings and ones interested in photography. I enjoyed the tour a lot and the lunch place recommended was also nice.
This was our fourth trip with Travelist Geoegia and it lived up to our very high expectations. It was a wonderfully organized trip with beautiful nature and people. This area is very beautiful especcially Katskhi pillar. The guide was wonderfully informed. I strongly recommend it.
Thank you Keso for your review. I am glad that you enjoyed the tour and appreciated the dedication and professionalism of one of our best guides. I wish you good luck. Thanks once again.
I booked this private tour via Tripadvisor just 2 days before the actual date. I know it was kind of last minute as I had a free day. But i checked that it was available and booked it and right away send a nessage to the operator. I only received a reply the next day telling me he could not do because he is occupied. Not only that he added who would do this tour at that price! I do not expect this kind of unprofessional remarks. The price is what is quoted in Tripadvisor and as a purchaser, I pay according to what is reflected. If you think that the price is too low then you should discuss it with your middlemen 'tripadvisor or Viator' and increase it accordingly and not to sarcasticly blame your unhappiness to the customer. I do not aporeciate it and it is unbecoming of someone in your industry where you should be professional and customer oriented.
Hello Diana. I apologized to you in private that I had to cancel the tour. I fully refunded you and it was not the last minute cancellation - you still had time to reserve with another company. I replied to you the next day because I was in the mountains hiking and there was no service up there. I just did not mention every single detail moreover it already is low season and my guides are travelling in different countries and I could not have found another person at such short notice considering the fact that this tour is not a mainstream one and only very experienced and knowledgeable guides can do it and that's why it is difficult to find professional guides at such short notice considering the fact that everybody is traveling in November before it gets too cold in Europe. I also advised you to contact another company on whatsapp immediately after reserving the tour on tripadvisor because I know that November is tough for many people owing to the fact that almost all tourism professionals are out of the country. It is my fault that I should have explained the reason better for canceling the tour, I should have explained every single reason and I never intended to demonstrate unhappiness to the customer and I also never addressed you sarcastically. Unfortunately you understood my remarks in a different way. Although writing one star for this tour is very unfair because it was never organized owing to above mentioned reasons, was fully refunded immediately and it was not the last minute cancellation late at night considering the fact that you had huge amount of time to reserve the same tour with another company. As you can see I have hundreds of very happy and satisfied customers who wrote the reviews and you were the first one who wrote one star even though you had never been on the tour. It is very unfair but anyways I wish you good luck.
Chiatura is a former Soviet mining town with Soviet architecture. The buildings there really give the Soviet feeling and the tour is very interesting for people intersted in Soviet history and Soviet architecture. Recommended.
Travelist organized a trip to Chiatura for me and my colleagues. Especially fascinating was the cable car ride while lunch was just super. We all recommend this tour company.
I’ve used this company’s services several times and I was always very happy and satisfied. I’ve been to Tbilisi, Kazbegi, Kakheti, Gori and Chiatura. Chiatura is a very special place. This place takes you back to the twentieth century and is really worth visiting. Food was perfect. Thanks for the memories.
Perfect tour with a very informative, friendly, educated guide and a professional driver. Everything was perfectly planned. Will use your services in the future as well. Thanks.
Chiatura - the Soviet ghost town. You will get to see very strange buildings and amazing landscapes. The cable cars were recenty changed and they are safe. Stalin’s museum in Gori was also interesting while lunch in Imereti was one of the best ones I have ever had. Thank you.
