Joaquin is the most amazing, legendary tour guide in the world. Hands down the single best tour we have ever been on. We had an authentic meal and drove in a safari truck up the mountain to give hidden waterfalls where we jumped into pools under the waterfalls,, cliff jumped and hiked through the jungle with toucans flying next to us. We had an amazing group and many laughs. This is must do !!!

This was a true Costa Rica adventure. Van picked us up at our hotel and we drove to base camp in the rainforest. Our guide Lomar then took us in a 4 wheel drive open truck to a hiking trail through the rainforest to a series of waterfalls where we could jump in and swim. We saw Morpho butterflies, poisonous tree frogs, coati, sloth, lots of interesting plant life. Lomar was knowledgeable, encouraging and funny. The hike in and out had a lot of up and down trails; not easy but very doable. We were served a typical Costa Rican breakfast before the hike. All in all a very fun excursion.

Jurassic Falls was hands down one of the highlights of our Costa Rica vacation! If you’re looking for real adventure, this is an experience you can’t miss. From hiking through the jungle to natural waterfall slides and cliff jumping, every part of the tour was exciting. As a 46-year-old, it definitely got my heart pumping—in the best way possible! Our guide, Coco, was absolutely incredible. He made everyone feel safe and confident while keeping the day fun and full of energy. He shared interesting facts about the area, pointed out wildlife along the trail, and even gave us trusted local recommendations, including a fantastic place to eat after the tour. If you’re visiting the Jacó area and want an authentic Costa Rican adventure, I highly recommend Jurassic Falls. Ask for Coco if you can—he’ll make an already amazing experience even better. This was a five-star adventure from start to finish!

Fabulous trip and we just loved Joaquin! He was extremely knowledgeable about everything in the jungle and we saw so much wildlife & Joaquin even saved us from a fierce Puma! Ok well maybe not the puma part. Highly recommend as a family trip if you have decent hikers.

I usually don't write reviews, but our experience with Costa Rica Waterfall Tours was so fantastic, I had to share. Our guide, Lamar, was funny, energetic, knowledgeable, and took extra time during our drive and hike to the waterfalls to get to know our group and cater to our interests. We had a number of birders and Lamar figured that out quickly and really knew his stuff. We saw Macaws, Toucans and various other birds on the tour, in addition to monkeys, snakes, dart frogs, and incredible plant and insect species. The hike was just enough to get your blood flowing and very beautiful. The falls were beautiful, refreshing and the jumps off of the 3M and 10M platforms was exhilarating - - maybe we'll try the 15+M platform next time. We had an awesome tour with Lamor and Wilson as our guides. The waterfalls were so fun to jump in and our guides were a wealth of information and showed us so many things from birds and plants to everything else in the area. What we learned was so interesting and we had a great time!

Anyone visiting Costa Rica must go on this tour!!! It’s so much more than just a waterfall tour. Wilson , our guide , stopped to show us local plants and animals. We learned so much in the jungles. We ate edible plants, we made war paint from leaves full of the iron rich, clay ,soils, we saw toucans, we ate termites… The list goes on and on… We also were fed arroz con pollo and met Cookie and Duke (mountain pups) I will never forget this tour. Will require some physical endurance, especially when raining. A lot of slippery areas. But very fun and the tour guide was knowledgeable . The couple that was also on the tour was awesome and great people. Great choice for sure. Kudos to JOSUE (Josh).

Wow, what a great experience we had. Our guide, Josue, was just the best. He went over and above. When my wife lost her eyeglasses he dove to the bottom and found them! We couldn't believe it. We had the falls all to ourselves. An authentic Costa Rican home cooked lunch was included. It was one of the best things that we were able to do while we were visiting Costa Rica. One thing to note is the pick us is at the Jaco Walk plaza and you get picked up at the bus stop area. Pura Vida!
