Este tour de un día completo te acerca al grupo étnico alemán de los sajones de Transilvania al visitar su ciudad más importante, Sibiu. Por la tarde, podrá disfrutar de un poco de la vida típica de un pueblo caminando por los pueblos rumanos de Sibiel y Fantanele.

Itinerario
Pase un día en la capital de la región histórica de Transilvania, la ciudad de Sibiu. Allí admirarás uno de los paisajes urbanos medievales más bellos de Rumania, como lo demuestra el título de la ciudad como "Capital Europea de la Cultura". En el camino hacia abajo, encontrará más información sobre las raíces sajonas, su colonización en Transilvania y su impacto cultural en el país. En Sibiu, comenzarás viendo las murallas de la ciudad y las tres plazas principales. Luego, visitarás dos de las iglesias más importantes. Subir a la cima de la Torre del Consejo le dará una hermosa visión general de la ciudad vieja.
Visitamos la iglesia fortificada de Cristian para conocer las tradiciones sajonas locales y la forma de vida en este pueblo. Aquí todo parece como si el tiempo se hubiera detenido en el siglo XIX.
Por la tarde realizaremos una pequeña excursión desde Sibiu para visitar dos pueblos que parecen estancados en el tiempo: Sibiel y Fântânele. Aquí la población vive de lo que produce localmente y los carruajes tirados por caballos son algo cotidiano. Probarás un aguardiente elaborado localmente (țuică) y luego visitarás el museo de pinturas de vidrio en Sibiel. Por la tarde, regresarás a Cluj-Napoca.

Although I wasn't able to do the specific tour I initially booked due to logistics, I was fortunate enough to join another incredible tour that covered a large part of the German heritage in the region. It was both informative and fun! Our guide, Andrei, was passionate, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. You'll not only learn a lot but also share plenty of laughs along the way.
