05:00 am, salida de HCMC para un viaje de 3 horas hasta el delta del Mekong. Al dejar atrás la ciudad, el paisaje cambia y aparecen vistas de arrozales, hermosos huertos al lado de la carretera y otras escenas típicas del sur de Vietnam. 8:00 am Llegada a la ciudad de Can Tho, capital del suroeste, comienzo del día con una visita al mercado flotante de Cai Rang. Mientras cruza el río Mekong, observe las actividades diarias de la población local en las orillas, vea las casas de estilo tradicional en las que vive la gente local, así como hermosos huertos, astilleros de construcción de barcos y bulliciosos mercados donde se ganan la vida. Intentamos disfrutar del desayuno en el mercado flotante, tomar un café/refresco especial, piña en el barco. 10:00 am, desembarque antes de explorar Son Islet, un islote en medio del río Hau que está separado no muy lejos del continente con orquídeas verdes aluviales consolidadas durante todo el año y gente honesta, encantadora y entusiasta. 12:00pm, Almorzando con muchas especialidades en este Islote. 18:30, llegada a HCMC

05:00 am Salida de la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh para un viaje de 3 horas hasta el delta del Mekong. Al dejar atrás la ciudad, el paisaje cambia y aparecen vistas de arrozales, hermosos huertos al costado de la carretera y otras escenas típicas del sur de Vietnam.
8:00 am Llegada a la ciudad de Can Tho, la capital del suroeste. Comience el día con una visita al mercado flotante de Cai Rang. Mientras cruza el río Mekong, observe las actividades diarias de la población local en las orillas, vea las casas de estilo tradicional en las que vive la población local, así como hermosos huertos, astilleros de construcción de barcos y bulliciosos mercados donde se ganan la vida. Desayunando en el mercado flotante. Es una experiencia maravillosa poder disfrutar de un delicioso desayuno campestre, junto con una sensación de inestabilidad cada vez que las olas golpean el costado del barco que te hará sentir emocionado. Mientras tanto, tenéis la oportunidad de sumergiros en el vibrante ambiente de la feria matutina, con risas de bienvenida y el sonido de las inundaciones. En particular, dos famosas "especialidades" del mercado flotante de Cai Rang que no debes perderte son los "fideos batidos" y el "café estofado".
Después de eso, nuestro guía turístico lo llevará a algunos talleres tradicionales. Te lo pasarás genial aprendiendo cómo los lugareños hacen "Hu Tieu" (fideos de arroz). Son suaves, planos, resbaladizos y ligeramente masticables. Luego, el barco te lleva a otro lugar para disfrutar de la piña (conocida como la reina de las frutas) que es fresca y deliciosa. El vendedor pelará la piña en el acto para que la disfrutes en el barco.
10:00 am, después de visitar el colorido mercado flotante, salida y desembarque antes de explorar el islote de Son, un islote en medio del río Hau que está separado no muy lejos del continente con orquídeas verdes aluviales que se consolidan durante todo el año y es honesto y encantador. Y gente entusiasta. Primera experiencia en el islote de Son donde visitará una piscifactoría flotante en el río Hau. El pescador tiene una colección de peces. No olvides hacer el check-in “Masaje de pies con peces Koi”. Al caminar por el islote de Son entre 80 hogares, experimentas la recolección de la fruta y la disfrutas del árbol cuando visitas el jardín con la gente local. ¡No te pierdas el puente de los monos! Es una buena idea y muy significativa con el menú volador. Menú volador” es un estilo único del islote de Son, cada familia preparará un plato y te lo servirá todo, los beneficios del turismo comunitario serán compartidos y colmados con los habitantes. 12:00 pm, almuerzo con muchas especialidades en este islote. Después de esta reveladora visita, regreso al hotel.
18:00 llegada a la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh. Fin del recorrido.

It was an amazing experience visiting the mekong delta. the village tour was good. we learnt how puffed rice is made and had a taste of it. the floating market we reached at 8 am dont know if it was the right time, but we couldnt witness much of the market scene on the river at that time. we did visit a family on the boat and learnt about their life. they served us fruits and coconut water which was very refreshing. the mekong delta was also good, overall a good experience
Avoid VIET FUN TRAVEL COMPANY LIMITED if you actually want to visit the places you book. We booked the "1 Day Can Tho Floating Market & Cu Chi Tunnels" tour several months in advance for our honeymoon. We planned a large part of our Vietnam itinerary around this exact tour and were genuinely excited about it. Then, on the evening before the tour, after we had already arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, they simply sent us a message saying the tour was cancelled because there weren't enough participants. No warning. No prior communication. Nothing. Instead, they immediately tried to sell us a private tour for roughly twice the price. This completely ruined our plans. Had they informed us even a few days earlier, we could have booked with another operator. Instead, they waited until the very last minute, leaving us with virtually no alternatives. What frustrates me most is not the cancellation itself. Sometimes that happens. It's the complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers who book months in advance and organize an entire trip around a reservation. If your travel plans actually matter and you want to be sure you'll visit the places you've booked, choose another company. VIET FUN TRAVEL COMPANY LIMITED is simply not reliable.

We had a wonderful day with an amazing guide, Kaydee! It started perfect with good and clear instructions from the company. Followed up by Kaydees communication about pick up. We got up early in the morning and me and my friend ended up in a total group of 5 people. That was amazing 😍 the atmosphere was chill and we just took life as it was. Got to meet lots of locals and Kaydee was brilliant in following us around. We can highly recommend this to any one else! It was perfectly situated and planned out in a good manner! One of the highlights of our trip. Pick up was a bit disorganised but the rest of the day made up for it. The island was so interesting and trying all the fruits and drinks. Loved it.
What a great day we had with our guide Mike. Everything ran smoothly and on time, from communication the day before, to pickup and drop off. Mike was fun, knowledgeable and caring about his guests. This is not one of those touristy trips where you are bothered all the time with vendors trying to sell you souvenirs. There are spots where you can buy but there is no pressure. It’s about seeing how the locals live. You see the floating markets and have breakfast noodles on one boat, coffee on another and fruit on yet another. You visit a family to see their house. Then there is the fish farm and local orchards before lunch. All followed by a river cruise. This is like a foodies tour! Thank you Mike for giving us an insight into the life of the southern Delta locals. We will recommend this tour to all our friends coming to Vietnam.
I had a fantastic experience on this tour, thanks especially to our guide, Tuan. From the very beginning, he was incredibly enthusiastic, cheerful, and full of positive energy. It was truly contagious. He explained everything clearly, so we always knew what to expect, and his storytelling made the whole experience engaging and enjoyable. You could really tell he loves what he does. The tour itself was very well organized. We got to see a wide variety of places, taste local food, and experience so many different aspects along the way. Everything ran smoothly, and there was a great balance between activities. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Tuan as your guide!

We had a fantastic day. The pick up time was daunting but totally worth it. We saw real river life and did many activities. Good for all ages. We are A LOT of great food. Our wonderful tour guide even sang for us. A trip highlight for sure.
I'd spent hours looking for a good Mekong trip from HCMC that wasn't the same exact itinerary as every other place (honey farm, coconut candy, etc). I was so glad I found this one that gets you deeper into the heart of the Mekong Delta area. This was such a great find! Although pickup was early, the bus was comfortable and cool to rest in before making it to the destination. It was great to see the floating market and learn more about how locals use it. Mr. Happy was a really sweet guide, making sure that we got to understand the stories of the locals for ourselves: from eating pho for breakfast on the river, to visiting a family boat where 3 generations live together and sell pineapple, to learning how the dried rice noodles are made, visiting other locals' boats, seeing the fish farm, and more. In addition to being attentive to the whole group and making sure our trip went smoothly, he was also very genuine and shared some personal stories and insightful Buddhist philosophy with us. Nice, knowledgeable guide. Since it was private for us 4 we got better contact and info about the country. Tried many different things but always felt like we had plenty of time. Recommended.
