We came to the Hard Rock Cafe in Washington DC as part of my son’s 8th grade trip. Despite having a group of over 100 people they let us in early and had everything ready with our own area upstairs. Service was great and though the food choices were limited it was good. It was a fun lunch spot to cap our time in the nations capital.
The food was great and the guitars and clothes they had from the artist were amazing to look at while dining, the only thing that would have made it better is if people were playing live.
As with most hard rock locations, this place has great memorabilia, and is a great location for a beer and enjoying the location. The staff were friendly and the service was good
Restaurant staff was not welcoming from we entered the building, the lady at front asked me many time how many were on the purchased item and kept staring at us,I explained my nephew was a baby and wasn't a part of the 5 people and she kept looking at me, I explained many times it was for 5 people and she kept repeating it, they kept looking at myself and my family up and down, very scrutinizing, we felt very uncomfortable. We asked what was covered under the package bought and it was just annoyance given in response as if we should know what was covered and the desert provided was not nice at all it was just a oversweet piece of plain brownie slice with chocolate syrup dashed on top, you weren't even given a choice of desert. The provided meals were all burgers/sandwiches or salad very basic menu and not everyone eats burgers so not accommodating at all. Staff asked me to show her the voucher many times and even asked me to email a copy to her then came back and said didnt receive the email and took my phone in the back with the scan code and took a while then brought my phone back to me. I got a receipt then the same staff member came back for the receipt stating she wanted a copy of it, I felt like I was begging for something because I purchased a package item on discount instead of feeling welcomed/ accommodated like a paying customer should feel. I would never return to this location for Hard Rock ever and I wouldn't recommend it either. Long and short Viator should discontinue service with Hard Rock Cafe in Washington its not a pleasant visit and it worth paying the price for what's offered.
Staff were friendly and food was great. Not as exciting as other hard rock cafes as they don’t have as much memorabilia, but we still had a great time and the food was excellent!
Front of house staff were cold, unfriendly, and borderline offensive with her attitude. Not a word was spoken by her, her actions and mannerisms said it all. We were not welcome.
Booked reservation online. Arrived let hostess know we were there. She said yes had reservation. Waited over 20 min seeing several walk in /sign in and be seating. Checked the app said 1st in line. Would hit refresh continued to be first in line. When after standing for 20 min asked how much longer. Reservation time came and went. Was told you are first in line when some tables are cleared. Kept seating tables of 2-3 people. Ended up leaving
This is the smallest Hard Rock Cafe we have ever been to. It didn't have a lot of memorabilia. The tables were small downstairs. Our waitress Brianna was amazing. Cobb salad, fajitas, flatbread pizza and chicken sandwich were all good. Good lunch stop right across the street from Ford Theater tour.
Hard rock not very big but cute. The "worst" in the USA, not so much for the place but for the not exactly courteous staff. You eat well as in all hard rock cafes
Excellent food, great service. All excellent. Only my mom didn’t really like meat, but still for me everything was very very good
