Los títeres acuáticos son una forma de arte tradicional con una identidad cultural distintiva de Vietnam. Nació, se desarrolló y diversificó hace más de mil años en el delta del río Rojo. Gracias a actuaciones únicas en el agua, este arte de los títeres es famoso y muy apreciado en todo el mundo. Al principio, los títeres de agua mostraban la vida cotidiana de los aldeanos, como la agricultura, la pesca, el romance y los niños jugando. Ahora, los temas de las obras también se recogen de antiguas leyendas, mitos y etapas históricas. Show was nice, Viator service of bringing the tickets to my hotel was outstanding Definitely a must day in Hanoi
The ticket delivery experience was a nightmare. We elected to have our tickets delivered to our hotel to ensure a smooth process. but……. After double checking and being reassured that our tickets were delivered a day ahead of our booking we arrived at our hotel in the day of the show to be informed the tickets were not delivered. Our hotel rang the ticket office to be told that our tickets were being held at the ticket office. We had less than 10mins to get from the hotel to the ticket office to collect and when we arrived (after running the whole way) we were told our tickets needed to be collected from the third party booker - Viator, 5 mins before the show. We had purchased VIP tickets which were advertised as line skipping so we don’t understand that. We were unable to get our tickets until 1min prior to the show!!!! Totally disappointing. The puppet show its self was lovely and well worth viewing. Just be very careful about ticket collection arrangements and check continuously. Our ticket experience caused undue stress and dampened our experience. Noting communication about our ticket collection issues was responded to post show and we were told that they had our show date as the following day and that was their reason. Funny thing is the chat thread actually has the date and time of booking in the subject line so this excuse is not justified. We also had communication that our tickets were being dropped to the hotel the day prior to our booking.
Really entertaining. Well worth seeing
The show itself was great! Entertaining and fun. Yes touristy, but we are tourists here and loved it. I suspect Charming Vietnam oversells the tickets as we paid using the Viator app then almost immediately got a WhatsApp message from Charming asking if we could change the time of our booking; we could not, so we attended the next day instead. Getting the tickets at the theatre was also somewhat confusing but it all worked out and we enjoyed the show! I removed one star for the ticketing issues.
Charming Travel was very good. I actually ended picking up our tickets because they happen to he across from my hotel. They were prepared and very nice
I booked through trip advisor 2 VIP tickets that said row A and tickets were available 10 mins before show starts.. When we arrived we were given seats in row D when I asked why the staff showed little interest, the show started so very little else but sit behind a woman with the biggest hair ever … As to the show it was okay
The puppetry is very skillful and the stage is very unique with well-played traditional instruments and singing techniques. The audio explanations (extra cost) are well worth it to understand what each story is about.
Brilliant experience would not want to miss it’s fantastic. Not normally our thing but friends recommend and we were not disappointed
Most unique musical performance ♥️😊♥️ our family truly enjoyed it and appreciated it very much. What an amazing beautiful experience. My most favourite part was the first performance of Đàn Bầu perhaps because it brought back memories of my very talented and loving grandpa who used to play this instrument for me when I was a little child. My ausie husband and our kids also loved this show and learned a lot about Vietnam culture from it. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏🏻
If purchasing ticket from cash office its cash only. The show is entertaining, the seats are comfortable and its great value for what you pay even if you buy the best seats. Amazing synchronization Highly recommended
