Hampi is AMAZING, however as a one day trip this is not worth the money. It was too much for the poor driver and I would not recommend for solo travelers. It is advertised as English speaking and the guide spoke English but the driver barely spoke English and the majority of the day was with him alone in the car together for 13+ hours, we had a hard time communicating/the drive was quite boring. Both the driver and the guide were incredibly kind but I’d definitely recommend opting for a 2 day group trip over this.

Yes, we agree that Hampi, as a day trip from Bangalore, is a 17 hour affair and this fact we have promptly indicated in the listing. Yes, the drivers don't speak good English and is mostly the case all over India. We have provided a good guide at Hampi as per our offer mentioned in the listing. This day trip has been designed to such people who have only one day available and who desire to visit Hampi. If you have more time, definitely we have a 2-day, 3-day and even a 4-day option of visiting Hampi and other sites nearby. But thank you anyways for your review and will surely try to plug the gaps if any!
I am working in Bengaluru for a short period only, and with only weekends available, this was a great option for me to experience Hampi on a limited timetable. The day was long (as expected) but was seamless in operation and my guide was amazing with his knowledge and accommodation of my needs. This was an experience too good to miss and I highly recommend. An umbrella to keep the sun off was a must!
Solo female traveler. Really enjoyed this taste of Hampi. To really enjoy, you need to stay at least one night, and 3 days are recommended due to the vast size and detail in the architecture. However, I only had 24 hours, so this trip was perfect. From Bengaluru, the ride was about 6 hours to Hampi, my driver stopped multiple times so we could stretch and use washrooms, have coffee. We met the guide in Hampi and started the visits. Lunch was great local food. Then we continued on until it was time to leave the guide and return for a 7 hour drive to Bengaluru. Temples were great, and seeing the musical nature of the pillars was fun. In July there were very few crowds, great pictures and time to savor it all. Highly recommend!
Due to a long business trip, I participated in sightseeing in South India only on the weekend. They were willing to reschedule here, and were very happy with the 12-hour round trip drive and the tour guide and photography skills in Hampi. Both drivers and guides are very pleasant.
